How do you feel about this playoff picture this week? See any advantages, disadvantages? How do you feel about your teams chances?

Is this week a must Win for Varina? The way this is shaping up, Varina might not get enough points even with a win to get a home playoff game. Also what about Glen Allen being ahead of Douglas Freeman?

I do think Varina needs this game... not only for seeding purposes but they have not beaten anyone with a winning record this season.

You do not want to go into rivalry week with the Springers with that kind of resume losing 2 of your last 3. The Springers will be the favorite without a doubt but a win over Atlee would at least help build momentum and confidence going into their game with the Springers.

As for the playoffs, you don't beat Atlee, unless you pull off the stunner of the year and beat the Springers you are on the road in the first round potentially against a Springers, Warriors or Skyhawks team losing 3 of your last 4 potentially and having only beaten up on teams with inferior records.

What's the likely hood that Douglas Freeman could move up?

I think they will need help.

Freeman has one game left and that is against Godwin this week.

Ahead of them Glen Allen has Deep Run this week and concludes with JR Tucker... Jags won't get much from Tucker but I would think they stay ahead of Freeman with a win over Deep Run.

I think there is a chance Glen Allen could move up before Freeman would if Atlee falters in the next two games against Varina and then Hanover.

So I 8-2 Freeman team with a win over Glen Allen will be a lower seed. That's going to tough and also it would give Glen Allen a home playoff game with an Atlee potentially losing to Varina

....and the possibility of Freeman losing several players due to "the incident"... not a good scenario for the Rebels!

So as far as I know, the Patrick Henry vs Deep Run game is cancelled. It seems like that will have an effect on seeding if not the teams making the playoffs. Won't it affect bonus points for Freeman and Henrico so far and potentially Glen Allen and Godwin depending on the outcome of their games with DR?

That would be a story... to go 6-0 and then lose 3 of your last 4 and miss out on the playoffs. Ouch!

With Godwin winning I think it is going to get very interesting. I think PG's loss last night doomed them but going into this final week... Godwin and Deep Run play one another this week in what I believe will be a "win and in" game.

Last year all Deep Run had to do was when and they were in and Godwin shut them out for the win.

I would have to start crunching numbers but as long as they don't lose to Hanover, I think they are in good shape.
