I am not sure if anybody noticed or even cares, but the possible travel times for the regions could be tough. Based on distance, traffic and old yellow school busses some trips could take in excess of two hours. Hell, without traffic its a 2:14 trip from Dinwiddie to Eastern View. Jeez, Lynchburg is closer and 45 more minutes and we are in Salem.

What are some of the longest trips for the other three regions? This surely is a strong rebuttle to the travel argument used to avoid crossbracket play in the final four.

We are kind of in no mans land as far as 4A goes, similar to GW Danville. Louisa is 40 minutes, EV is 1:00, PH-Ashland is 1:10, Harrisonburg is 1:00. Lynchburg is 1:00.

We have some long trips within our region. Charlottesville to Hillsville is 2:47; to Bassett is 2:40; to Pulaski is 2:36; to Salem is 1:51.

Amherst is only team in our region under an hour (45 minutes). LCA, Glass and JF are all around a hour.
