Regional Projections (as of Feb. 18)

Right now the national seeds are: Oregon State, LSU, Virginia, CS Fullerton, Miss. State, South Carolina, FSU, and Vandy.

Our regional/Super regional looks like this:

1.MississippStat(5) 2. TCU 3. South Alabama 4. Alabama State

1. NC State 2.FloridaAtlantic 3.WesternCarolina 4. Binghamton

I like our regional. A little worried about the Super Regional pairing. NC State means we'd have to go through Carlos Rodon. Also, Western Carolina could end up happening again. Looking at this though, I like our chances. NC State in Starkville would be a heck of SR series.

This is where Ole Miss stands:

1.OregoState(1) 2. Texas 3.UCSantaBarbara 4. Canisius

1.Louisville* 2. Ole Miss 3. Stanford 4.KentState

Looks like it'll be another 2 and out for Ole Miss. I don't see them getting past Stanford or Louisville, and even if they do, It'd be tough to go to Corvallis and win a SR

Don't take this the wrong way, not meant as a flame at you at all because there's obvious interest from some fans. Its meant probably more as a question. BUT, its impossible in a football season w/ only 12 games, each played only on a weekly basis, to determine bowl teams until after the final weekend of play and conference championship games, yet people speculate from pre season until December about it.

Baseball teams on the other hand are playing 40-50 games in a season, multiple games in a week and the scenarios literally change almost daily with out of conference defeats placing a ding on your RPI rating, rain outs cancelling that easy win you were counting on, etc. Why even try to speculate who and where teams will be playing 4 months from now? Sit back, relax, drink a baseball beverage, enjoy the games and let the season play out. Again, nothing personal, I just don't get the reasoning.

My post was more related to Baseball America or whoever more so than you for posting the info. These are cool to look at I guess but I have no idea why Kendall Rogers or whoever would waste their time compiling that info.

I don't think posting the info was a problem. Lunardi has made a living off predicting basketball's early. It might have taken it a step to far to predict how we would do in the regional and super regional though.
