Do I, do I, do I? You know why it's a flawed argument, but by all means, continue to us it. I'm just surprised your numbers are accurate, they usually aren't. Of course, I didn't check behind you, so you could be wrong. Wouldn't surprise....anyone.

More than making the tournaments 5 times in 10 years? We should be right there with Kentucky and Florida in your world? I've been the one railing you morons all along that your expectation level is off, and now you agree with me. Goddamn, you are the biggest idiot on the face of the planet.

"More than making the tournaments 5 times in 10 years?"

First off, we are a week away from 5 times in 11 years. This is also skewed by the fact we made 4 in a row from 2002-2005.
Even you can see the trend our program is taking- we are one week away from 1 trip in the last 4 years- 25%

My expectations are much higher than 25%, yours should be too- especially as much as "Stansbury has won"

to fit your needs. This sort of goes back to DerHntr's argument about winning every other game and being happy. If we had trips in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, and this year, nobody would say ****. Your 25 percent is like everything else you say, it's garbage.

Bottom line, among active coaches in the SEC, Stansbury has the second most appearances at his current school.

Just don't reply, I'm tired of talking to you, hell, I'm kicking myself for doing it the first place. I have to be honest though, a tiny part of me hopes you get your wish, and the new guy fails miserably. I think I would take never having a winning season in basketball aGAIN under a new coach just to rail your *** about every day. You guys think Coach and fish are bad, let us bring in a new coach and him not succeed immediately. I'll run off the whole board.

I don't know why you think Msu will be a so called "Ncaa Tournament Power", we never have and probably never will. Stans has done more for Msu basketball than any coach we have EVER had except Babe. Going to the Ncaa tourney is important and a goal, but to keep saying over and over we need a change is crazy. Just because your standards are high doesn't mean you are right. 9 and 7 is a very good year for this team, next year expectations will be much higher. You don't throw a consistent coach like Stans under the bus, you ought to realize this as you use to coach.
Btw, do I wish we would go to the tournament more, hell yes but it ain't the only thing that matters. Selling tickets and making money is much more important than a trophy. I know I'm wasting my time telling this but I do know I'm in the majority about Stans, again call him out all you want but call him a winner as he is a consistent winner at that, something we have never had.</p>

Let's say this team pulls of the possible, but not probable, and wins the SEC Tournament and receivies the automatic bid. Would that scenario guarantee we don't get anymore Stans-bashing posts from you until this time next year, at the earliest? Let's be honest, your demands for the last 5 months have been a birth in 2009 or 2010. I'm just wondering if your expectations will increase in order to keep slamming Rick.

Oregon who made a good run in the NCAA tourney last year, has won 2 in conference this year. Ga. Tech who has had some success in the dance in the past has won 2 in conference this year. UPIG, with your boy Pelphrey, and in dance last year, 2-14 or at best 3-13 in league this year if they beat Vandy. You fail to give credit for Stans' consistency and that is not easy to do at a school like MSU.
