Need to change header of this thread to Reidsville vs the Conference. Not much to say about any one game.
Carrboro is not allowing any visitors, cheerleaders nor parents in the game Friday. Doesn't surprise me because they're a clown circus anyway. I'll be so glad to be out of the conference with them.
Yes they are. Looks like I might miss my first Rams game in many decades. But, maybe not. That shows how prejudice them folks in Orange County really are.
Didn't you miss a game a few years ago for a George Jones concert? How did I remember that???? I probably wanted to go!Yes they are. Looks like I might miss my first Rams game in many decades. But, maybe not.
Now that is a classic understatement.Glad to be going separate conference ways. Pitiful football facility.
I think the last one I missed was at Edenton Holmes? Don't remember the year. Help us out here rambbq, I know you went to that game.Didn't you miss a game a few years ago for a George Jones concert? How did I remember that???? I probably wanted to go!
Wasn't there a 2-0 (forfeit) in recent history?lol....2 years ago (2018) Reidsville won at Carrboro 70-0 and last year (2019) at home 50-0.
George Jones played at the Alabama Theater Myrtle Beach in September of 2012.I think the last one I missed was at Edenton Holmes? Don't remember the year. Help us out here rambbq, I know you went to that game.
I did go to two of the George Jones concerts later in his career in Asheville and Myrtle Beach but I don't think those were during football season.
2015...Rams won 2-0 by forfeit...Carrboro couldn't field a team but had 38 guys on their Cross Country team.............lol......................Wasn't there a 2-0 (forfeit) in recent history?
We went on a Saturday night with the Holts.George Jones played at the Alabama Theater Myrtle Beach in September of 2012.
Note: you can almost anything on the internet except your basketball stats at RHS in the 50s.
And my stats were pretty much non existant as I was not exactly one of Coach's favorite players. We went on a Saturday night with the Holts.
Probably had something to do with talent! Hoy pretty much knew who to put on the floor - he probably didn't play favorites. And my stats were pretty much non existant as I was not exactly one of Coach's favorite players.
And that is most definitely a classic understatement.
Carrboro knocked Rams out of playoffs when they had T. Sharpe, a great back. You guys remember when they actually had a good team lol. The basketball team is not that bad
It would be fair to say that I had a considerably higher opinion of my basketball talents that did Coach.Probably had something to do with talent! Hoy pretty much knew who to put on the floor - he probably didn't play favorites.
T Sharp went on to have a pretty decent career at JAmes Madison even winning a FCS National titleinjuries hurt him. Had division one offers, the receiver was good as well.Qb was steady
Yeah Carrboro had a good team that year. They enter the 2AA State Championship game 15-0 but lost to South Iredell 30-27.2012....Carrboro played for state title I do believe............
