I think you should try to remember the last time a Cleveland County team traveled to Reidsville. I sat there between two of your middle school coaches and they said “we have never been beaten this bad on our home field”.

Again the last time Shelby played reidsville it was 17-7

How do you know he’s coming???

Same way I knew our punter Caleb was coming last year. I took a picture of both Caleb and Kalab last year standing together in the end zone. Ive known of this since September.

I'll say this I didn't see the 2018 Northeastern team that Reidsville beat last year, but as coach Mike Leach says "That's Last Year." Has nothing to do with this year. I did see the 2017 Northeastern team year before last with Freshwater's older brother, that lost in a shootout with Wallace-Rose Hill, who then beat Reidsville in OT for the state championship but that was year before last. I thought that the 2017 Northeastern team year before last was a great team, but in my opinion, this 2019 Northeastern team is better on both sides of the ball. Much more versatile, I think more disciplined in that they appear to be on a mission. Not saying anyone playing for state championship isn't on a mission, but they definitely are! Just my opinion. Good luck to both.

Coming from a NE poster, our defensive line has been nasty, especially in the playoffs. Freshwater was a sophomore MaxPreps preseason All American and he's lived up to the hype. #55 Staten and #2 Spellman are absolute qb killers. They've played exceptionally well all year. Next year will be our year, we don't lose hardly anyone and have the one of the best rb's in the country coming in for his Sr season. 2020 has all the makings of a special season.
I heard about that running back yesterday.

I guess you can understand the excitement Wiz. Hey Wiz that was a great post about our program and I promise you that our Coach Moore greatly appreciate's what you just wrote. You'll have to take my word on that, but please believe me, I know he thinks a lot of you and thinks your very wise. Thanks for that again.

All the above and “The Toe” gonna be a problem. He is a rocket launcher! That’s a trump card in high school football.

This short clip was taken last December when we were driving thru the Great Dismal Swamp on our way to Raleigh to play Reidsville. The scenery was awesome, very surreal. I'm thankful again that we'll be able to make it once again.

I see on the web that the Reidsville/Northeastern game is in the 3 pm timeslot. Whew! I saw once it was 11 am. That just wouldn't do. I don't know if they changed it or not but the NCHSAA now says it's at 3 pm. That makes me feel better.

How is this relevant to what I posted?

Me too, but it won’t happen. We’ll be 4a in 4 years! :)

Charlotte has a population, now, of close to nine hundred thousand. Belmont is only around ten miles away so that will happen.
There is a large upscale neighborhood just behind Lineberger Stadium with what looks to be many new homes. I saw that some years ago when the Charlotte overflow began to spread into Union County. Now it’s Gaston and Cabarrus.

Sure am glad I'm stuck up here in Rockingham County...get claustrophobic every time I venture near Charlotte or Raleigh.....Greensboro is big enough and much closer.......................

As a group, these large and fast-growing metros grew by 16.3% since 2010. Austin (26.3%) was the fastest-growing large metro, followed by Orlando (20.5%), Raleigh(20.5%), Houston (18.2%), and San Antonio (17.5%). Charlotte was the 7th fastest-growing large metro, increasing by 15.9% between 2010 and 2018.Jul 24, 2019

Spot on, Lincolnton. Tell Rambbq that he’s right about Rockingham.

I have a buddy that years ago was going to a race at Rockingham. He had only been with others so this would be his first time driving to the race there. He called me on the phone asking directions to the track. I asked where exactly are you?? He said I'm in Rockingham County so I should be close. I sat up in bed and said ROCKINGHAM COUNTY???? He was almost in Virginia. lol He swears he still got there before the race started.

Add Kings Mountain to the few years out from 4a to that also. Between 2018 and 2020 there will be a total of around 500 added homes. If casino(reason one builder has already started) comes, there's going to be a giant boom in homes unless zoning turns it down.

it's huge now; I know Raleigh is a city in Wake County, but honestly there's no differentiation between city and county lines in Wake, it's just all metropolitan/super urban.
I saw this in Wilkaedia about the Wake County School System:
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is a public school district located in Wake County, North Carolina. With 159,549 students enrolled in 187 schools as of the 2018-19 School year with seven new ones being built,[1] it is the largest public school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest district in the United States

Eden has only been Eden since 1967.....before that it was 3 small towns located on top of each other....Leaksville, Spray and Draper....merged in 1967 and some old timers have never gotten over the result....lots of hard feelings..........................Wentworth is the county seat of Rockingham Co....the towns are Eden, Reidsville, Madison-Mayodan and Stoneville.....population around 94,000......................

Gaston, NC is in Northampton County, and not Gaston County; Cleveland, NC is in Rowan County, not Cleveland County; Mooresville is in Iredell County, not Moore County; Clayton, NC is in Johnston County, not Clay County, NC., and if it hasn’t been mentioned, Madison, NC is in Rockingham County, not Madison County, NC and Thomasville, Kannapolis and Rocky Mount are in more than one County.
