Reidsville-Northern Guilford updates

Hopefully as season goes on other players will improve and step up can't continue to have our starting WRs be starting DBs and starting LBs be starting RBs
Backups gave up last two TDs. They looked not so good.
On the 95 yd pass play there was no defender within 25 yds of the NG receiver.
Reidsville has a lot of work to do...to get to the next step.............O line inconsistent..D. played well at times but then gave up big plays....got up 45-14 and then relaxed..........gotta quit doing that...need to finish off teams....................................really impressed with the 2 underclassman RB.'s.....they hit hole quick and made people miss.......they will surely get more reps as the season progresses.......................

Defensive end Brandon Lee led Reidsville defense with 11 tackles and 2.5 sacks, one of which caused a fumble to set up a Ram TD.
QB Tanner Wilson 14 of 23 for 183 yards and 3 TDs. One interception was a deflected pass.
Isiah Hayes had 4 catches for 112 yards.
Austyn Chestnut also had 4 receptions.
Jalen Easley was leading rusher with 45 yards on 9 carries.
For Northern, Frazier had 128 yards rushing on 24 carries.
QB Flippin was 13-25-2 for 251 yards and WR Ford Moser had 8 receptions for 177 yards.
Total Yards: Reidsville 330, Northern 386.
Penalties/Yards: Reidsville 8-60, Northern 8-63

The NG QB ran his fakes perfectly on the veer. Reidsville gave up 2 late TDs that wasn't happy with along with anyone else. I wouldn't say "woeful" coverage. We have a play stoppage with 8 mins to go for 30 mins. The game was all but over and I'm sure most of the guys let down their guards. We have to learn not to do that for sure.
We were on our way to beating a pretty good team by 30 and the spread was Reidsville -6. The refs were very quick to throw flags. The horse collar on the sack was crap along with the interference call. Not to mention the motion penalities. We've cut down on a ton this year compared to years past, so why so we all of a sudden commit more in a night that the past 4 games.
We still have things to improve upon. We have a big opponent in two weeks. Im very pleased with where we are.
I hope the young man from Northern is ok today. Any Northern fans know what happened and if he's ok?

actually i thought northern was a lot better than their record. good looking quarterback and receivers. RB is outstanding. he had missed a game or two earlier which led to their struggles on offense i guess. best team we have played. i'm not that concerned about late letdowns on defense. agree we don't need those kids of letdowns and need to put teams away. felt like intensity dropped a lot after the delay. rams showed a better running game than they've shown lately. like the direction rams are headed. first 5-0 start since 2010 at tail end off 55-game winning streak.
Very good win against a decent northern team..hopefully we can get by NW guilford next weekend and that should assure us an undefeated regular season and conference championship and hopefully a top 2 seed in the playoffs
Very good defensive line rotation right now,.good depth at that position..and the QB is really making some darn good throws
Unless something has changed, the seeding for playoffs is based on 10-game schedule and teams can delete one non-conference game from record. So if Reidsville can sweep the conference, they will have the 10-0 seeding record. Note that among Mid-State 2-A Conference teams, Bartlett Yancey picked up its second win last night and Graham had an impressive score in its victory.
