Im sure he gave up friends he grew up with under the assumption it would be his job after a year or two.
On another note, the reidsville middle school lost to rockingham for the 2nd time in 3 years today. 16-8 not looking good for the next couple years.
Braxton is a sophomore. He came to Reidsville as a freshman. Practiced with the Rams before the first game of the season. So you are saying in the eighth grade an maybe the seventh he left NW Guilford and SW Guilford or at least had been told he just wasn't good enough at those schools. How many years did Michael Jordan play varsity basketball in high school?
So Broadway is a JR and Braxton is a SO. Plenty of QBs at Reidsville waited for their turn as a Senior to play. The more talent the better off either of these young men will be due to competition. Injury is always a concern as well. Just my opinion.
Also, how does the JV teams keep beating Rockingham if our Middle School keeps losing to them?

Heard from someone that spoke to Jimmy Teague and he said that Tyson Broadway hasn't been approved to play by the school board yet so won't be active tonight unless things have changed since then. I'm sure we're not gonna play him until we're 100% sure of his status given recent events.

Scorestream had Carver winning 39-0 in the first qtr and the game had not yet started.
In Reidsville's game at Carver, Broadway saw his first action for the Rams and was 3 of 7 for 38 yards. Johnson continued to play well and was 11 of 18 for 203 yards and 3 TDs. He had 2 interceptions but at least one of those was the receiver's fault.
So far this season, Johnson is completing 65% of his passing attempts (63 of 97) for 877 yards and 14 TDs.
