Reidsville's highly touted 15 years old Sophomore QB Al Lee made his much anticipated debut in Community Stadium Friday night against Western Alamance and did not disappoint.
Lee had some early game overthrows to open deep WRs early and sometimes held on to the ball a little too long but showed why he is receiving early recruiting interest from Div I schools, Wake Forest in particular.
He has a nice touch and good size. It helps that Sr. WR Peoples and Soph. WR Flippin can just outrun defensive backs with their great speed.
The Rams offensive line did a good job considering their inexperience, giving Lee great protection most of the time.
Lee, who is already 6'2" will only get bigger and better over the next three years and watching him mature will be a real treat for Rams fans.
He only played less that 3 quarters for the game as the Rams backups entered late in the third quarter.
