If it's called a jump ball then WVU gets possession on our half of court for a last-second 2 or 3.

I REALLY want to see if that was a foul or a jump ball.

In any event, really proud of this team. They provided great, stirring entertainment all season long.

And Huggins got his 900th victory.

So I'll back to hugging my 5 great-grandchildren and the sun will come up tomorrow and I'll be playing golf.

Now, let's root for an all-Big 12 Final Four.

We deserved to lose the game. We never found a groove and the 2-3 zone gave us fits. I feel like every one who saw the floor for us missed a layup. Too many bad passes as well.

You're not fooling anybody, CFE. You're hugely disappointed, and I don't blame you for being so, but your propaganda/fake news is nauseating.

Impossible for that to happen. No B12 teams left in East region.

Buddy was fouled on the play. He caught the ball and took a step before he was fouled by Johnson. It wasn’t close to being a tied up/jump ball.

Hey fanboy it was an obvious foul. Cuse kid jump up grabbed balled in both hands. WVU kid drove right across the Cuse kids arms. You really are pathetic.

Good Lord. It was a FOUL. Obvious foul. You must not have watched the game because they showed the replay, in slow motion, and was pretty obvious. We lost this game. Plain and simple. They didn't win. We lost. McNeil put us up one point, then we got ball and turned it over, they hit three or four consecutive shots.....that was ball game. For the entire game we tried to force the ball in the high post or baseline against the zone, and they deflected many of those passes and we seemed to be programmed to continue doing this. We pissed away many possessions doing this. Not to mention the fact that we continued switching on the high screens with Boeheim instead of hedging the screen and forcing the ball out of his hands. Again, I'm not an expert, but I'd say this was the plan and not to switch.

Culver will not return. He'll go overseas. Taz looked like he was ready for it all to end as well. Matthews was in tears after the game, probably because he cares and feels like his multiple misses close ended up hurting the team. I like him, and hope he returns and has a great final year. Deuce is a stud. Can't wait to see him next year. We need Cottrill to be the real deal and hope he returns from his injury.

And you claim to be a sports writer and you have no knowledge of the rules of the game?

The WVU player did not have “possession of the ball along the sideline until after he hit the player on the shoulder and arm. Great effort, but he was too late on making a play for the ball. (This is not a rule change that just happened so clearly you should of known better than to make up excuses.)

The team never quit and they just got out shot. Stats clearly shows that, but to comeback 3 times after being behind double digits show great heart and effort and at the end of the day, that is all you can ask for. I am disappointed for the loss, but not in the team.

Sports is over for me till the start up of fall football camp.

Peace.

my question is why wasn’t it a 10 second violation on that possession? The 10 second count isn’t supposed to reset even if the ball is knocked out of bounds, etc. until you get across mid court. It was about 15 seconds before they made it. I’m truly curious on that one.

By rule, any time the clock is stopped, the 10 second count re-sets. The only exception is if the defense deflects the ball out of bounds.

WVU did not get cheated. Every one needs to sit down and eat a piece of fruit.
