I'd be ecstatic to have Briscoe back, frankly. This would really be "his" team and he'd be smart to avoid this year's guard-heavy draft, keep working on his shot and assists, and try next year. Hell, at that point he may as well stay all four and get the degree, and then go.

three great young men who provided some great memories

tournament wins over two elite teams in wichita state and ucla, and won the regular season and tournament title in a league that was pretty damned tough it turned out

would LOVE to have briscoe back, especially with another incremental improvement in his shooting

If Zay comes back, along with HUMP and we add Bamba this team makes another push and the UK Haters will just have to deal with it again.

Good luck guys! I wish the VERY best to each of you. I appreciate your play and devotion to the UK team.
I'm sorry you had to experience the sorrid underbelly of the ncaa experience. Your effort will not be forgotten.

I've got no way of knowing what's in Briscoe's head. But he seemed to flip a switch halfway through the season and get more locked in on playing his role.

He's also hitting that point where the return from sticking around could equal or exceed the return from leaving.

He could go from just another guy to legendary status in Kentucky by helping us reach a Final Four or win a Title.

Being that guy in Kentucky can pay dividends for the rest of your life.

not sure i believe this report.

Doesn't UK always have press for each individual?

@Aike I agree with what you are saying. Briscoe has more to gain from staying then going. Even in terms of $ figure. All he needs to do is become spot up 3 point shooter. He had everything else. I felt like he could have taken 2 threes against UNC when they completely backed off.

If he can knock them down, UK can be really good next year. Surround with other enormously large individual who can control the board and interior defending, he can help our team to final four and title.

Hope he stays!

So Bam is being projected around the end of the first round. I bet he ends up going sooner then that. But why not try to come back and improve stock? What is so bad about staying another year to get better?

Nothing but $3,000,000 is a nice excuse to play ball all the time

Potential injury...
you get better quicker in NBA...

not to mention, getting drafted late means you are on a good team. That's actually really good too.

From the outside looking in, I think he should stay. But if he's dead set on being a pro right now, it is what it is.

If Bam really is a late 20s pick I don't get it at all. This is a LOADED draft.

He could come back and easily be a top 15 pick.

I swear....some of these decisions get really old

Briscoe really has no choice but to return. I dont even think hes a D League player at this point. Not hating just giving my honest opinion.

I just assumed Briscoe was gone. I would love to see him return. A junior at point would be a great addition.

It'll be the same as laat year, when the NCAA decided they were being stupid about it and started letting the kids go through the process to get good feedback. It's how Briscoe made the decision to come back fora sophomore season.
