JD Vance needs to go in and take over the senate and get it done or they need to start calling names of who is in the way.

Senator John Kennedy introduced a Resolution to withhold senators pay during a shutdown

He says it came out of the Rules Committee unanimously, it’s very popular and Senators will vote for it

He says the problem is Leader John Thune won’t bring it for a vote

“I've chased John like he stole Thanksgiving to try to get him to do it, but so far he hadn't agreed. But I, I'll keep pounding him”

The problem in the GOP Senate is clearly John Thune. He’s definitely paid off

The entire Democratic Party will vote NO when trying to advance a Republican led Bill, but there will always be just enough Republicans to vote with Democrats to give the Democrats exactly what they want on theirs.

I honestly think we are being played as fools. With all of my gut I think so.

The first government shutdown happened because John Thune is weak.

The SAVE America Act hasn’t passed because John Thune is weak.

The No Rogue Rulings Act limiting out of control district court judges isn’t law because John Thune is weak.

Trump’s EO banning sex changes for kids isn’t codified into law because John Thune is weak.

Trump’s EO banning men from playing in women’s sports isn’t codified into law because John Thune is weak.

The DHS partial shutdown is ongoing because John Thune is weak.

MAGA will show up for President Trump in November. Mark it.

Senate Republicans never had any intention of passing the Save America Act. And there will likely not be any other votes of consequence between now and the midterms.

Make no mistake, John Thune and his leadership team have betrayed the American people and their president. And they don't care - not one bit. They sabotaged the president's agenda - from day one. Their behavior may likely cost Republicans the House and the Senate. And they deserve to lose.

However, President Trump does not deserve to be impeached and that's exactly what would happen if the Democrats regained control. So, we can't let that happen -- for Donald Trump's sake.

Let's spare President Trump and the First Lady the agony of endless investigations and trumped up charges. Reelect the gutless guttersnipes.

We can deal with the jackassery of Thune and his cowardly band of traitors in 2028.

Our president deserved better. And so did America First voters. We got screwed by the Republicans.

John Thune is letting the Senate go on a 2 week vacation hoping the Voter ID pressure will die down.

They thought the same thing when John Cornyn helped pass Red Flag Laws in 2022 hoping people wouldn’t care by 2026.

They fail to realize we aren’t dropping these issues and going away.

In fact, it just makes us angrier.

This fucking_ pussy_ John Thune and the spineless RINOs are packing up and leaving town for a two-week Easter recess.

WITHOUT passing the SAVE America Act or even trying to kill the filibuster that’s blocking it.

And purposely left ICE and CBP unfunded.

Trump’s #1 priority to secure elections with proof of citizenship.

Dead in the water because these cowards won’t do what it takes. The House already passed it.

Republicans control the Senate. But instead of fighting the Democrat filibuster with a real talking filibuster or rules change, they’re jetting off on vacation like it’s just another weekend.

Feckless. Gutless. Traitors to the voters who put them there.

You ******* campaigned on election integrity.

Deliver or get the hell out of the way. America is watching, you weak bastards.

There is a serious constitutional crisis when the legislative branch of the federal government is unable to legislate because of self-imposed ‘extra-constitutional’ rules and procedures. The Byrd Rule… named for a long-dead Democrat leader who appears to control the Senate from the grave. The filibuster rule that can’t work because of some long ago interpretation of the filibuster process.

The question is whether the Senate leaders will continue to allow their foolish adherence to arcane rules and procedures to create this constitutional crisis.

They say they won’t “nuke” the filibuster. But they also won’t overturn the long ago ruling by a parliamentarian who “interpreted” the 2-speech rule to mean the filibuster can never ever end.

As we have had to learn more about the Senate rules, it is becoming increasingly clear that the Senate is refusing to protect the filibuster by overturning the interpretation that makes the filibuster impossible to end without a supermajority.

That’s a constitutional crisis and rather than seriously address the issue and the procedures and the rules, the Senators left town.

So disgraceful.

We will know soon enough where these Senators went if they traveled during the recess. How many went on junkets. Who had fundraising trips. What they did rather than face their responsibilities.

Like funding DHS.
Like securing our elections.

Like addressing this constitutional crisis they have allowed to take over the Senate and that they refuse to remedy.

This is not what the voters bargained for. This irresponsible bunch of Senators who refuse to protect the Senate and ensure its ability to function to serve the people.

They’re mad at @BasedMikeLee for calling this all into public view.
On full display so we now see it - understand it. And hate it. But he’s not the problem. They just didn’t want the public to ever find out. But now we know. And we are disgusted.

The midterms will be disastrous unless Senate Republicans take the following action:

⏺️ Republicans must immediately return to DC
⏺️ Remove Majority Leader Thune
⏺️ Install an America First majority leader
⏺️ Immediately vote to nuke the filibuster
⏺️ Pass the Save America Act
⏺️ Confirm the president's nominees
⏺️ Publicly apologize to the American people
⏺️ Publicly apologize to President Trump

I knew the Senate would be a serious problem when they elected RINO John Thune as Majority Leader, RINO Mitch McConnell as chair of the Rules Committee and Susan Collins as chair of the Appropriations Committee. This was a massive "**** You" to the voters that gave them the majority. This is the fault of not only these three, but all the Republican Senators who elected them to "Leadership". @RealDonaldTrump @POTUS
@SenateGOP @LeaderJohnThune @jdvance

GOP TN Rep Burchett on Fox: The leadership in the Senate..on both sides of the aisle, has a real disgust for this president and House leadership because they didn't even have the guts to call Speaker Mike Johnson and let them know what happened. The whole deal of, you know, the the stereotype of Congress is and it's and it's well deserved is that we pass stuff in the in the dark of night because we don't have any guts. And that's clearly what's shown in the Senate leadership. I think they need to get some new leadership over there, in my opinion.

It’s absolutely shocking and insane that the Senate thinks it’s acceptable to go on recess until April 13 when a federal agency of 260,000 has not been funded. This is waning days of the Republic type malfeasance. Force these geriatrics to fly back to DC and do the job.

You simply do not leave until the job is done. We expect more from basically every other profession in this country. Why does Congress get rewarded for failing to do basic job requirements?
