Gotta love proathletes that think they deserve a better contract, miss camp, then get injured. Revis deserves this. I hate these athletes that think they deserve all these millions and millions of dollars. He's probably the best corner in the league, but he got greedy, and now he's gonna pay the price by not getting to play, and the Jets will suffer because of it if he misses extended time.

I don't think he has to prove himself any more. Just look at his stats from last year. I mean yes he is a prima donna and he went about it the wrong way, but he has absolutely nothing to prove.

what the hell? this is exactly why athletes like revis and chris johnson hold out. because AFTER they get injured, NFL teams drop em like a bad habit. get paid when you can, cause an injury is just around the bend. ask leon washington. instead of holding out, he decided to "do the right thing" and play for 450K. got his knee dam near ripped off his body. now he sucks and no one will ever pay him much more than league minimum for a few years until he runs out of time and ends up baggin groceries for the rest of his life. If he'd have held out, he'd have a few million in the bank to retire on.

Revis did the right thing. He did what was best for his kids and grandkids. not what a bunch of strangers wanted him to do. He deserves nothing but the best for all the work he's put in to get where he is today.
