Dreaming. They had there chance last week. Sadly for the Scots they almost pulled it off.
Almost is the key word here, Scotland generally does not
play well in Raeford for some reason.But, two of our most thrilling end of game wins has been there though, both as huge favorites.
..Down 40-16 late in the 3rd and win 41-40
inside 30 seconds several years ago,,,and this past Friday
Raiders should win by about what they want to if they are what they claim to be. Just take care of business. The Scot score should insure that to be the case.
Their playing in Raiders Stadium, WOODSHED ACTION!!! Their Coach will give the Raiders at least 3 TD's!!!!
While the back ups are getting valuable learning experience, the starters get valuable learning experience from the sideline which can be be just as important as some team meetings if the guys watch, pay attention, and learn.
One thing I'd mention now to my team is that rain and wet field, will certainly, favor the Bucks game plan rather than the Raiders...win if you can and get the starters off that wet field...just my armchair coaching...GOOD LUCK and GO RAIDERS...

Those wet games suck. I remember Swett played 71st back in the day and the squad was the squad, but because the field at 71st was equally muddy as a pasture, it called for a nasty evening......we barely lost. So yes that is a great warning as Hurricane/or Tropical Storm Michael will arrive soon. With the talent Richmond has it is imperative that the coaches utilize the players out in the field. It might be a nasty one but I sure dont have to think twice about Richmond winning....
Certainly don't want any injuries on either team...be safe guys.

I recall the year that the Great coaches of N.C. in the Raleigh area had fire trucks hose down the arena in an attempt to slow the Richmond RAIDERS down... and it backfired, however it was a very dangerous mudfest and I shaint not to disclose anymore of the details other than the RAIDERS prevailed to move on to Chapel hill stadium ..and the rest is history... GO RAIDERS

Well Mr. SWETT, that was some 30 hers ago ...so ima tell the rest of the story... the game plan was work in putty good til halftime when the FAMOUS Richmond coach had em brand in a bucket of mud often the field and they smeared it in the jerseys n finished cover in up the numbers so theopponent didn't know who was who, modified their cleats n run rings around that Raliegh team but now dole 4th atr, the arena started freezin, it was cold. We changed our cleats back and GLORY B..now coach Ba... wasn't Gonna run the scores up...we handled em though. ..GO RAIDERS. .

Richmond started that job and completed what they thought wus gonna be an unfinished task. I know them other team ate them delicious Crow Mr. BenBADD. I bet when theys got done eating them thangs they said "Mudder fricker- Dems guud eatin'"
Ben badd is telling the truth! I was at that game and it happened just that way. I shall keep the name of the team and the coach secret.

Yep that running back attended N.C. STATE after high school. It was the coldest game I have ever attended.
Raiders D gave up 85 yards last night. 53 of which came on the last "drive" of the night. I think some band members and cheer leaders was in the game at that point.
Yeah that was pretty sweet. Hope they have something planned for when the skirts come to town
