A pretty good read. He's wrong though, the pimento cheese sandwiches are good. As are the egg salad ones, and I don't even like egg salad.

I was once one of those "pimple-faced teenagers in yellow overalls." I got into one fight off the fifth fairway deep in the bamboo, where we'd made a camp with broken chairs patrons had tossed and extra garbage bags for shade. And another fight in the bunker by the fifth green. It was late and all the patrons and golfers were on the back nine. That didn't stop the Pinkerton guard from yelling at us and reporting us though.

I'm not a golfer or a fan in the slightest but even I can/could appreciate the serenity of the landscaping marvel that is the Augusta National.

If you haven't been, and you get the chance. Definitely go. Hopefully you won't witness any shenanigans by the boys in the banana suits.

Ill read this in a minute, but if its anything like all his other articles, it will be like me reading my dad's generation's sportswriter.
I dont know how to better describe Reilly, and that really does my dad a disservice since I think he too shuns Reilly's articles.

Its just a combo of how stories and how he writes them. I end up regretting it almost every single time. Its either a molehill of a subject that he has made a mountain out of, or a subject that I just couldnt care less about(something about riding his bike 20 or whatever miles to U of Colorado for a football game). And his writing style just screams uninteresting.
Watching him on TV is actually worse than reading his articles though.

Im going into this article with an open mind though!

It's an article about how awesome Rick Reilly is...

disguised as tips for when you attend the Masters.

Ha, yeah thats pretty accurate.

There was a good line though about #16- Now, as Jim Nantz would say, over to 16, where you can sit and watch players try to par the Lindsay Lohan of golf holes -- short, gorgeous and shady. </SPAN></SPAN>

the only thing worse than reading Rick Reilly articles is reading Rick Reilly articles after you see how much his ESPN contract is worth for a once a week column.
