Ridgeview vs Giles.....1st time..kinda

I don't know anything about Ridgeview...but for folks from Giles...Ridgeview is the combination of Haysi and Clintwood....we have seen Haysi on 2 occasions....once in the monsoon of 93...and once on a beautiful day in 05...both times in Haysi....both years after playing Haysi we went on to win state I believe....maybe we should go there...just joking people...don't know if the game will be Fri or Saturday because of the almost 3 hour trip but either way...safe travels and welcome to Giles for the first time

Ridgeview will likely be a perennial powerhouse. I look forward to seeing them next week in Pearisburg and in years to come.

Haysi and Clintwood have been good programs over the years and so putting them together will make a tough match up for any body. The first year I'm sure has had its challenges, but it seems as though they have gotten better as the season has went along and had a good win last night against Honaker. Giles looked pretty good last night defensively holding Nelson to minimal yards. Offensively they looked pretty good with the exception of a few holding penalties that need to be cleaned up and a few offensive play calls that were not the best either.

This is when it gets very interesting and should be a lot of fun in the coming weeks!
