"We were walking into 30 Rock when we worked at NBC and there was this guy that we thought was homeless and he would meet Mike at the door. He would give him $100 going in and a $100 going out and this would happen all 20 weeks of the season. It was Thanksgiving day one day and it was snowing and blistering cold. We were walking over from the hotel near 30 Rock and I told Ditka that I didn't think his guy would be there today when all of the sudden a black Sedan pulled up and the guy jumped out, didn't think we saw him, and came up to Mike fake stuttering as if he'd been living out in the cold and said "Hi coach." Mike's face got bright red because he was so mad. He stayed composed, gave the guy $ 100 and said "he obviously needs it more than me,"

Went to Chicago like 30 years ago. Ate at Ditka’s pork chop house. Probably the best pork chop I ever had eaten. It said they were the #1 selling pork chop place in the US. GREAT PLACE!! RIP Coach Ditka!!
