This is rivalry week for Tarboro, playing against cross county rival Southwest Edgecombe. While some stupid things have happened off the field (i.e. vandalism) we have never had anything ugly on the field. Last week there were on field fights at Conley vs. South Central and Hunt vs. Fike. Both counties had to make tough decisions regarding suspensions, fines, and in the case of Wilson ending the season. Obviously rivalry games are great for the economic bottom lines of schools involved. Just wanted to open the floor up to other rivalry games across the state...good, bad and sometimes ugly.
