Went to school there.Great food and music

Yeah, I got my MBA there. Anyone from around there or who has lived there could tell folks that Graceland is in a terrible area and Beale Street can be dangerous on weekend nights.

Pretty clear RJ is either going Memphis or Kansas. Wonder if he thinks that he can beat out Dotson for starting PG slot if Dotson ends up coming back because draft status doesn’t live up to standard. I wouldn’t bet on it and thus RJ would start day 1 at Memphis playing for one of the best PGs of all time in one of the greatest cities in the US to watch CBB when Memphis Tigers are decent.

He would be handed the keys at Kansas either way. He is better than Dotson

Imagine KU will play him at SG and let Dotson run the offense if both are there. RJ is a good enough scorer to play SG for pretty much any team in CBB. Still thinks he ends up at Memphis with a much less crowded backcourt.

RJ makes either team a title contender. I'm still happy with what we have, provided one of our senior bigs return. That is key for us now.

Saw this article posted on RR and it has a quote from RJ Hampton’s dad that caught my attention.

“Not that Duke doesn’t have the wow factor, but Cal has played with multiple guards”

I’m assuming that he means multiple point guards but if that is what he means then he must’ve forgotten or not realized that Duke played 2 point guards this past season and also in 2015 and won a National Championship.

The best backcourt in the nation in 2015!

I think Duke has enough without him. He is a great talent but I think it’s better for the long term not to get him with Cassius in the fold. Let Boogie/Cassius/Alex battle it out for the two guard. Goldwire is good enough to let Tre breath 5-8 minutes a game.

I think like this. This is one of those times that missing out on a top tier guy may be a blessing in disguise. It may help Duke more next season and even the season after more than this one.

RJ Hampton sounds great but almost nothing about him screams "team player." Sorry if that sounds harsh.
