RJ will go to Memphis and they will be the new Duke next year(as far as OADs). We will be more experienced if Javin returns.

As long as he doesn’t go to Kansas (still a possibility). Hope he stays in 2020 and comes to Duke next season. I really want this kid at Duke and not playing against Duke.

Context may be important. Like, was he asked if Kentucky was out of the equation because of the guards they will already have and he gave a safe answer? I can't imagine him wanting to go to Kentucky or to Duke in 2019. He would be better suited at Memphis. If he wasn't scared off by Kentucky, he would love Duke.
He should come to Duke. We hardly have any guards on our roster.
This is just... I mean our coaches have to know he's reclassifying. And there's no way they'd waste their time watching him if they didn't think he's realistically in play.

Him not reclassifying, but as has been posted since, looks like he does. I don’t see him going to duke now- figure Memphis and hope not U.K.
At this point he’s a great player but i just don’t want him for some reason. Never felt this way about someone so highly rated but let’s just take our team and go with it. Take our team into the summer and build chemistry with no late additions.

I’m with you, we’re out of the picture. I read that Maxey(UK commit) and Wiseman(Memphis commit) are pressuring him to reclassify and that he’s good friends with both... I’d be shocked if he doesn’t reclassify.
I hate to admit it but I think that he’ll commit to UK. — Which sucks because I’d love to see a backcourt tandem of him and Tre. I know 3pt shooting isn’t going to be woeful this upcoming year, but the kid is pretty prolific behind the arc. I’d love to have him.
I’d take him in a heartbeat. I just think it’s too crowded but if he did join us he would start day 1.
We have our guards for next year. If he wants to come in 2020 I’ll take him but for this year we’re set. His dad comments scare me anyway. Saying how he wants the ball in his hands and if it’s the close game he wants the ball the last 2-3 minutes. Comments like those scare me. I want ball movement this year. I don’t want the ball to stick

No such thing as having too much talent or too many options. I agree that we’re gonna have a great team but Hampton is better than all of our ‘19 class (besides maybe Carey) - If he lived up to his hype, I wouldn’t have a problem with him taking the final shots. I know Tre is going to be our leader, but he’s not really a scorer.
Yeah, but we have more talent. I think he’s a kid that wants to run the offense and although he’d likely start for us, Tre will have the keys to the car. Also worth noting that K likes “aces in their places” so in the event that he isn’t the big time baller he’s supposed to be, he’d probably ride the bench hard. Cal is more prone to giving everyone minutes.

I think Javin is just dabbling around with no real intention of leaving, unless of course he miraculously hears 1st round news.

I think it’s too late for Hampton. Getting Stanley fills up our backcourt. I see no way adding a very talented kid to a roster that is set with talent won’t cause turmoil. Remember the way K plays his guys. Too many cooks in the kitchen adding a player that wants the ball.

Wayne Gooch "Blue Devils Reign" editor said on twitter today Memphis is the leader to land Hampton. Wayne added RJ "needs the ball in his hands," and "we already have one who needs it in his hands" (Tre obviously).

It's all Penny right now. His AAU ties and of course pro background. He is easily relating to these kids, I would assume. I'm with you though, besides that I don't see much.
I’ve never been there (other than maybe driving through but not stopping) but I haven’t heard very many good things about it.
