I though i read something on here a couple days ago saying that he stepped down from Arkansas. Is this true? If it is you have to wonder what is in the making as far as the behind the scenes in regards to schiano. I have a feeling that barchi has been talking with greg for sometime now.

I don't think Robb Smith is meant to be a P5 HC - he hated recruiting and doesn't have much charisma. He can always be back to coach defense at RU.

Yes that is what i am suggesting because he was here a little over a month ago and i think he recently stepped down from arkansas. I just have a feeling that barchi and schiano have been talking for a couple weeks now if not longer, and maybe smith will be brought back as a dc. Who the hell knows im just excited for the future.

Robb Smith may have been there on a recruiting trip. He has NOT resigned, nor left, nor stepping down at Arkansas. He is making $1.2 million as a DC in a very tough conference. Not a bad gig at all.

He probably would like to stay in the same salary range or higher, IF he was to make a change.
