Should know a lot more after this game as to whether Murphy is that bad defensively or if Cherokee is just that good offensively. I believe it to be the former, but we'll see.

I will cut Murphy a little slack defensively, their best d-lineman (and the best d-lineman in the conference when he's motivated) was out with Covid and Cherokee definitely took advantage of that exploiting the personnel on the field in his place. Murphy also lost their best pass rusher, Wood, to an injury during the game.

Regardless I see Robbinsville winning this game by multiple scores if they are who I think they are.

Don't think so
1st conference game after playing tough competition and competing down to the wire. Laid a whooping on Asheville who just beat Reynolds. Cherokee is tough and just had a emotional loss by 1. I still think Robbinsville is going to make a statement win after what they have dealt with this season. No disrespect to Cherokee I just wouldn’t want to be them this Friday. Just my opinion

Could be a good game. I'm thinking Robbinsville 24-13 halftime.
38-20 final.
Stop #2 and this game could be whatever score Robbinsville wants it to be. Knights pass rush is much better than Murphys, & all in all they're just better defensively than the Dogs.

Gotta give it to #2 from Cherokee though, he makes stuff happen & can keep his team in games. Looks like a video game character sometimes.

I think robbinsville wins by 2 touchdowns....then cherokee wins 3 games on the road to close out the season. At Andrews(game was close in the spring). Then at hayesville. Then at swain(thought I saw where swain had a game that week on Monday vs robbinsville) so maybe robbinsville will beat them up for the Braves bc swain blew out braves in the spring.

I think Cherokee scores 14 or 21
That means Robbinsville needs
49 or 56 to win by 35. I don't see it.

I don't think Cherokee will run on us with the RBs.
The QB will be tough to stop.
Look what you put up against Asheville and the 3A school last week. Oh ye of little faith !! With a line like Robbinsville it can be done. Only have to contain the QB

Obviously the QB Bradley is their stud but Cherokee's RB Calhoun is a really good athlete too
Yes he is but I believe I heard Murphy’s best defensive lineman was out last week and I believe Robbinsville’s defensive line and linebackers will stop him.

Yeah it definitely hurt them, the drop-off from Smith to the next man up at DT is huge. When he brings it (consistent effort sometimes an issue) he's the best d-lineman in the conference. If anyone questions that just watch the Robbinsville playoff film from the spring.

Not so fast my friend! First, lest we forget...Rville hasn't had that difficult of a year on the gridiron. They had three weeks off and two weeks without practice. Other teams have experienced sickness and injuries and played without players this season which is to be expected with the short turn around. RHS has played two good teams but that is the case for the rest of the teams in the Smoky Mountain Conference. Murphy without a doubt played the best team anyone will see this year when Rabun Co. was added to the schedule (BRUTAL). Andrews has had the easiest schedule this year. I know they won against Mitchell but Mitchell did have six starters out. No one will be shocked on Friday should Swain Co. give Andrews their first loss of the season. BTW...Cherokee should have won at East Gaston. East Gaston whipped Thomas Jefferson Classical last Friday and TJC has the same team from last year that gave the 1A State Champions all they wanted. My point...Robbinsville @ Cherokee should be close. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins the game. Cherokee is a good football team that is well coached. If Cherokee holds Robbinsville RB C. Adams to a 100 yards & Cherokee's quarterback Don Bradly stays poised and gets the proper protection...Big Cove will ring with the EBCI war cry of victory.

And who are you to judge how difficult we have had or not had it?

Dude you’re an idiot…. I don’t know any other way to say it honestly. Robbinsville has played 4 teams bigger than them and went 2-2. This game won’t be close. Robbinsville is a better team than Murphy this year. No knock to the dogs but these boys are fired up for conference play. Robbinsville by 3-4 scores at least.
