His match ended at 9:37 PM in Paris even after he complained to the umpire in the 2nd set. They wouldn't stop the match. Roland Garros does not have lights.

it was dark, but Monfils played lights out for the most part and Roddick was a little off his game. He missed a number of midcourt balls and makeable volleys as well some overheads.

Just a little off like Nadal and Novak were.

If the frenchman plays like he did today and Fed doesn't pick it up, I don't think he'll survive the next round.

He was missing balls that any amateur tennis player should be able to at least get over the net.

It's hard to tell on the TV if he really was screwed, but I think it was a little bit of that as well as Monfils being on top of his game.

*****. They were both playing in the same elements. He is always crying about something. It's just not a good time to be a tennis fan when Roddick is the best our country has. Sampras and Aggasi spoiled us a little I guess.

I'd buy the argument that the lighting affected Roddick more if Monfils wasn't locked in as well, but he was playing great in the same conditions.

Maybe he eats more carrots than Roddick.

that Roddick was a *****. He would ***** all the time about how the line judges and chair umpire missed a call, then shot spot would show Roddick was being a dumbass. I still think he is a *****, but he isn't as bad as he used to be.
