Rodney Hood Speaks Out Post Game.......its all about character or lack there of....

I have wondered about Hood this entire season. He certainly has the pedigree to be a great player/leader. I think Bost had those same ideals. Hood needs to step up as the leader of this team though I think he has the humble beginnings of a guy who lets his actions speak for itself. What this team needs is a vocal on court general since it doesnt come from the bench. Bost seemed to be that guy but he got frustrated at times and shut down. My fear is that Hood ISN'T vocal enough. I still don't know how he got a technical called against him. The guy appears to not know how to speak. If Hood continues to develop there is no question he will play in the NBA. He certainly has the length/range.

out on a limb here, but from that article, it seems to me that Sidney was just a complete and total 17up. We should have cut ties with him long ago. It could be Stansbury's undoing.

a shot at whoever the trouble was butalso aBIG shot at who he perceived should have been the leader/s. He is right about it not usually being a freshman's place.

Well we will need a new coach for that to happen, most likely. If we keep stans, we can look forward to boney Hood again next year.

we probably wouldn't be having all these conversations. With that said it is hard to defend Stan's right now as he has made some shittastic decisions the past couple of years and he has to live with them.<div>
</div><div>It is my understanding that there are three Euro's being brought into the program for next year. The guy we lost last year plus another 6'10" fellow and a 7'2" player. We bring in Josh Gray to shore up the guard situation and</div><div>by some miracle Moultrie returns and if Stan's can right his ship then next year might not be a total disaster as everyone seems to think it is going to be.</div><div>
</div><div>The one thing about basketball is that it doesn't take years to see a program go down or come back up. You are always only a few players away from going one direction or the other. Football on the other hand takes years.</div>

I would follow Hood. Hood could be my leader. Never would I follow Bost and that is part of our problem. Following Bost means I would get suspended TWICE for half a season. I respect the play of Bost. He hustles and he is a heckuva player. However, he is responsible for some of the behind the scenes problems that are hurting team chemistry. Look at his suspensions and his tweeting defense of the guy from Okolona that Stansbury kicked off. I am ready for a fresh start without Bost and without Sidney. I would also like to see Stansbury replaced. The loss of Bost, Sidney, Bryant, and Moultrie means the majority of our minutes and production will be gone. That is the perfect opportunity to bring in a new coach to groom the new group of starters.
