Okay snowflake get off your keyboard.By supporting an abortion ban, you support rapists having reproductive rights at the expense of their victims.
Okay snowflake get off your keyboard.By supporting an abortion ban, you support rapists having reproductive rights at the expense of their victims.
Why not tell the guys to keep it in their pants? They are just as responsible but basically get to walk away scott free. What about rape victims who were forced to spread their legs? They are having a choice made for them twice.I had to take two shots so I could keep my job. Either close your legs or be ready to become a parent. We were given reproductive organs for a reason. When you use them there is a risk
The Texas law does exactly that boomer in regards to supporting rapist over mother.Okay snowflake get off your keyboard.
We don’t make laws on the .01% of cases. Which is what rape cases that results in pregnancy are.Why not tell the guys to keep it in their pants? They are just as responsible but basically get to walk away scott free. What about rape victims who were forced to spread their legs? They are having a choice made for them twice.
Dude….. just stop with the intellectually dishonest posturing.By supporting an abortion ban, you support rapists having reproductive rights at the expense of their victims.
But those rapes happen and they need to be accounted for in the laws.We don’t make laws on the .01% of cases. Which is what rape cases that results in pregnancy are.
also I previously stated men who are proven to be the father should be held accountable as well. One child that come from your nit sack that is a welfare child and snippy snip
Yeah I knew what you meant, just wanted to clarify because there is another "church" named after Satan that some religious conservatives confuse with the Satanic Temple and dismiss everything as like a "crazy Satanic people love to butcher babies" type of thing. Thanks for the clarification, I was well aware of their intention, didn't mean to imply they were actively seeking pregnant women to butcher for their "religious beliefs".
I'm making the same point they are. If the tenants of your religion dictate you behave a certain way, do so. Just don't force other people to do so in the process.
Just checking in to see if anyone has changed their minds by reading all of the insightful posts that I'm sure are in this thread.
I'm not about to read through all of those pages, but has the role of the man/father/sperm donor been discussed yet? If abortion is off the table, then the 'father' should be on the hook for half the pre-natal expenses. Then do a DNA test the day the kid is born and he has to do his part for 18 years or he is penalized under the law.
Dude….. just stop with the intellectually dishonest posturing.
Take a deep breath and let the SCOTUS render its official decision.
Only 31% of Republicans support abortion bans. 54% think it should be legal under certain circumstances and 15% thing it should be legal under any circumstance.I would think this would not be opposed by anybody on the right.
The opposition would come from elsewhere because abortion on demand is a natural outgrowth of the desire to have no consequences- from sex, from loans, from breaking the law.
Since you’re obviously quite the biblical scholar I’m sure you can quote the book chapter and verse of this restriction. I’ve honestly never this before.Do you also wear clothes woven of multiple fabrics? God also forbid that. I don't see the right clamoring to make that illegal.
Convenient how y'all pick and choose what to believe in.
You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material. - Leviticus 19:19Since you’re obviously quite the biblical scholar I’m sure you can quote the book chapter and verse of this restriction. I’ve honestly never this before.
Thank you. I worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who came to fulfill the law. Therefore I don’t follow the minutiae of Jewish law.You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material. - Leviticus 19:19
It is referenced in many other verses as well.
It’s still an example of people picking and choosing what parts of the Bible to follow. It’s things like this that turn people away from religion. Hypochristians are a huge problem.Thank you. I worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who came to fulfill the law. Therefore I don’t follow the minutiae of Jewish law.
That is one odd puzzle you’re putting together there bud. Again, you’re standing on the rape victims to push your narrative. Have you asked these victims if they want to represent your noble cause. Do you think these victims appreciate you speaking for them?By supporting an abortion ban, you support rapists having reproductive rights at the expense of their victims.
Idgaf when it happens it's still murder.Less than 1% of abortions happen after 21 weeks. No one is having an abortion late in a pregnancy for fun. It's only happening if the fetus is dead of there is extreme risk to the mother.
30-60 days into a pregnancy many women don't even know they're pregnant. The way "weeks pregnant" is counted you could be six weeks pregnant but been a virgin four weeks ago.
This thread is full of people who have no idea how pregnancy or abortion actual work.
Christians aren’t perfect. It’s still an example of people picking and choosing what parts of the Bible to follow. It’s things like this that turn people away from religion. Hypochristians are a huge problem.
Rape is illegalBut those rapes happen and they need to be accounted for in the laws.
snippy snip if you can find the guy. You think police will spend any effort looking for him if he has taken off? Also, do you really think any of these laws will address the guy involved? We all know it will be woman only that is addressed.
Bottom line on all issues. Old white men think they are right about everything.
Would you please show where in the bill it implies this? ThanksThe Texas law does exactly that boomer in regards to supporting rapist over mother.
This would be decided by states. As it should be, and not likely that it would turn out that way. You’re hysterical and not in the funny way.By supporting an abortion ban, you support rapists having reproductive rights at the expense of their victims.
Clerks and staff who were responsible for this leak should be severely disciplined, including permanent disbarment where appropriate.
What does this have to do with whether the Constitution guarantees it as a right?Only 31% of Republicans support abortion bans. 54% think it should be legal under certain circumstances and 15% thing it should be legal under any circumstance.
Wow you're mad.So Republicans/conservatives, why do you support rapists given how you are giving rapists more say in reproductive rights than the rape victims?
Mitch/Trump just kicked Biden's *** all over SCOTUS.
So you agree they need to have an exception for rape. However my point was that police will not try to find Bob who had sex with Sue and then disappeared when Sue got pregnant. The law won’t address those situations. You are fooling yourself if you think they will.Rape is illegal
Deuteronomy 22:11, link below with how it's phrased in dozens of different translationsSince you’re obviously quite the biblical scholar I’m sure you can quote the book chapter and verse of this restriction. I’ve honestly never this before.
It's pretty hypocritical to say God's word doesn't matter in one case but not in another.Christians aren’t perfect.
Jesus basically gave us two commandments:
1. Love God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength.
2. Love our neighbor as ourselves.
Jesus didn’t command his believers to follow the Old Testament strictures, so I don’t follow them. Nothing hypocritical about that.
10 states have passed abortion laws without exceptions for rape, including Kentucky. 9 got blocked by the courts, for now. Though whenever Roe gets overturned, won't be anything stopping these states from banning abortion even in the case of rape. Texas is still on the books. They'll keep trying until the courts stop blocking it.This would be decided by states. As it should be, and not likely that it would turn out that way. You’re hysterical and not in the funny way.
