Have not been to a game since '07 supers. Has anything changed on this or is it just be discrete and put it in a solo cup?

Also to ask what people remember about the 2007 super regional as far as bringing alcohol into the game? I was honestly so hammered beforehand and throughout that I don't really recall if they were more strict than the regular season or not. I've probably been to 3 games since 2007, so thoughts/tips are appreciated.

The statement released on hailstate.com Sunday evening as soon as the host sites were announced said that, since this is a NCAA sanctioned event hosted by MSU, security measures would be in effect that may differ from the regular season. It did say coolers, bags, etc. may be subject to search so I would make plans accordingly. Probably can leave the cowbells at home, too. That all sucks.
Sure it's like the old days. Long as you get in in before game time your fine. I'm sure most loungers are stocking right now.
If you come in with a cooler they will give you a quick look. Just put beer on the bottom and cover with cokes. Or my favorite. Put a case of beer in a bag of charcoal they never check.
