I never said the problem was Cohen. I insinuated the problem was Polk himself. Like I said in Todd's thread above, Polk still believes he should have real input into the program. In his mind he's still "Athletic Director of Baseball" and will be until the day he dies. That's why I think letting him have any influence, particularly while players he still recruited are suiting up for us, is a very, very bad idea. In 3-4 years, after all "his" guys graduate? Maybe, but that would be the earliest I'd consider letting him anywhere near the team. He's just too big a loose cannon currently.
