Why is it necessary to make predictions? It only makes you look like a fool when you're wrong.

Just report what the guys actually say and what they actually do. Everything else is not necessary. It doesn't change anything in reality other than making the predictor look foolish when they are wrong. And all of them who make these type of predictions are wrong at some point.

Just the facts, ma'am.

That's all I want.

If anyone surprisingly signs on NSD, then magically he was right and knew some secret info. Practically if anyone signs on NSD without the masses having knowledge of it beforehand, he can say this is what he was referring to.

This is actually a trick straight out of the Yancy Porter playbook, executed in slightly different fashion.

ridiculous by the day, and for the record i think everything out of rosebowl's mouth is bogus. Why would Thompson commit today if this was the case. I believe his dad being a coach, he would show a little more respect to the process. The sad part about all of this is that some fans will actually believe it to be true and be pissed when on signing day we don't get not just one of these, but all three.

I don't believe anything he says. I don't believe anything that Gene says. Absolutely nothing. I believe even less of what Yancy says.

Right now, I'm going to stick with Paul Jones on BDJ. When Paul says "I called X recruit and this is what he told me", then I'll take that. When Paul starts slinging rumors and predictions, then I'm going to stop listening to him too. But, so far, he hasn't done that. So, I'm cool.

I understood him to be saying that he does not like to appear beaten (as a victim) before his Ole Miss friends and colleagues so instead will act like something is up. Might as well try and make them wait to enjoy beating us for those recruits by putting on a brave face. Misery loves company and all that.

That's exactly what he means. Idon't really see how it could be interpreted differently...especially to the degree that the originator of this thread did. I have a feelingthat guy'sWonderlicscore would similar to Pig's.
