So you're admitting that he does walk, goaltend, and go over the back alot?

when the Ole Miss player doesn't have any type of block out going (not touching) and doesn't jump (does Cranston have the ability to jump?). JV waited him out a number of times and would get a rebound from behind him (perfectly legal) without touching him because Cranston would just stand there waiting for the ball to drop into his hands.

You weren't playing NW LA State today, you have to play physical.

and it is a trend.

He is a helluva player, the best D player in the league, but he gets away with a ton of **** due to reputation.

he gets a lot of blocks while pushing off with the off hand.. Refs are looking at the ball for the foul and miss it.

What about the Terrence Henry 360 in the lane followed by 5 steps that was bailed out by a pathetic foul call late in the game? Without that **** call it was about to be a 10 point game with under 4 minutes left.

if he played for Ole Miss you wouldn't be a whiney a ***** about it.

Now, does he get some BORDERLINE calls to go his way- yes- absolutely. But it's the same as the Jordan rules. As a Cardinals fan, I see Albert Pujols getting pitches to. Great players get the borderline calls because they have earned it. He is a phenomenal shot blocker. Those two borderline calls were perfect blocks on his part. That's why Varnado is going to the NBA. Varnado knows what he can and can't do, and he normally does what he can.

As far as travelling, I saw Varnado get called for that a couple of times during the game, and then there was the time with 33 seconds when they somehow called a shooting foul for Ole Miss even though the guy for Ole Miss was bending over when Varnado fouled him. But mysteriously, you're not talking about that. You're also not talking about the multiple times Ole Miss travelled and it didn't get called.

If Varnado played for Ole Miss you would be saying the exact same thing that I am right now.

But he doesn't.

1 screenshot + 1 screenshot + 1 screenshot = 3 screenshots = evidence

for the record, i'm 96.24% sure the second one was a goal tend

but that just made up for Henry's ridiculous non-called 4-step spin through the lane on the previous possession. The "block" evened things up in my mind

Wow, you are a homer if you can't admit that at least one, if not both of those blocks (the one at the end and the one right before the half) were goal tends.
I thought the one near the end of the game was an obvious goal tend. The one at the end of the first half wasn't even close.

C34, how many coaches outside of Duke and UNC and the other elite programs have a winning record against the top 25? If you have a winning record against the top 25, your program is absolutely fantastic. Since when is that the standard for being an above-average coach? That would put us at basically a top 10 program. That's absurd if you honestly expect that. You would expect a program that is somewhere between 20-25 in the country to have a pretty similar record to Stans against the top 25, considering that that program would be worse than most of the top 25. If you expect more than this at Mississippi State, then you're just not going to be happy.

For the record, Andy Kennedy is 3-9 against the top 25 since he took over at Ole Miss.

Just who exactly would you consider to be a better coach than Stans that took over a comparable program to Mississippi State? I want to know.
