Given where we are at in the season and how things have gone, how do you see us finishing it out?

Fan in me says 7-6 with a bowl win against a crap opponent in Bottom tier Texas bowl, brain says 5-7. I think we continue to beat who we should and lose to better opponents. Although I think we put a real scare in Michigan in Ann Arbor.

5-7 seems right. Wins over Army & Maryland. A close loss to Nebraska officially puts the season to bed. Hope for a coaching change breeds optimism heading into the offseason...

Funny how everyone is writing in Maryland and Army as a win, those games are by no means guaranteed wins. Maryland is playing better against Ohio State and Penn State than us, they have a very good shot at beating us. In fact, if I was making an objective bet without being a Rutgers fan, i would bet maryland would win. The next 3 are pretty much losses, unless something crazy happens in our favor. We probably beat army and finish 4-8, hopefully the school is willing to make a change at the end of this year. I don't know how many schools would tolerate an academic scandal, having half the team thrown in jail, and losing record...but this is Rutgers and they're is a high tolerance for mediocrity.

Although I think we just faced the best team in the BIG by a huge margin, I cannot see this team beating anyone left with the possible exception of Army. However, Army's record is filled with losses by less than a TD. They have only been blown out once. We all know that you need a very disciplined defense to beat the academies. This we do not have.
Maryland is the only other team with a ? but even they have shown with the exit of Edsall they are still playing hard. Last game of the year could have a lot of injuries for both teams so just don't know.
Looks to me like an epic poor season.

Be funny to see how this board reacts the week leading Into Maryland. We had some vocal anti Flood people saying they'd be impressed if Flood was playing for a bowl game and it would have shown a solid coaching performance. Curios to see the new narrative. No, this is not an endorsement of Flood, simply an observation from people's comments.
