Just sharing because it would change the game on Saturday.
Of course, it could be Kiffin being cute with injury misinformation.
He played games with the availability report last season.
He has to submit the availability report for release tonight, but he's not going to jail if he lies.
I have no idea if this is true, and I also have no idea what the numbers say, but the eye test says Austin Simmons has been really bad.
Oh I am completely fine with Ole Miss people being injured.
I’m just thinking Simmons 2 picks a game adjusted for the typical Arkansas OM game has to be at least 4 picks.
For context, Chambliss entered the transfer portal and committed to Ole Miss this April.

We have a vested interest in Ole Miss losing 3 games & missing the playoff again. I do not want Austin Simmons to be injured badly, but missing one game is a means to an end.
I give no thought to them or their team until Thanksgiving week. At that time we line up ours against theirs and if we beat them, awesome. If they beat us, we sucked. Life is much easier when you control what you can and not worry about what you can't
For all we know, “The Flying 17s” may be the name of the team the guy transferred from.

This means Kiffin is about to crawfish on Simmons' availability.
I think it means that their backups are no good and Simmons at 70% is still better.
A lot of their beat guys are not confident he plays and have said he is nowhere near 100%. I think it was Parham who said on one of his shows that if the game was to be played today, which he recorded yesterday, then Chambliss would start. If Simmons is not 100% by now he's not getting there. If I'm Kiffin, I'm not putting him out there Saturday. He already has shown that if he gets pressure he will panic and throw the ball into traffic. Now add into that he's not 100% and Arkansas will dial up the pressure ten fold.
Simmons wasn’t on the Thursday report, meaning he is 100% available.
So if he remains off the report (Friday and game day) and doesn’t start, it’s safe to say Kiffin is playing games with the report.
fwiw, the line hasn’t moved with Simmons off the report. It is still OM -6.5 after opening OM -12.5, so the money doesn’t appear to be buying Simmons’ availability.
I didn't know he had been injured. I just assumed they were giving the backup a shot based on the little I've seen him play. But I didn't know what their backup is like.
