That sucks... I like the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving. Cant blame ESPN for wanting a prime time matchup though.

TV ratings > tradition. I really liked the LSU AR game on Friday after Thanksgiving.

Godfrey has been saying this for months.

Which is even more reason to show that we got played moving the Egg Bowl to Thanksgiving this year.

Having 1 game in the prime time slot is better than having 0. Also, from the article, LSU-A&M games in Baton Rouge will be on Friday or Saturday, not on Thanksgiving.

Fine with me, while having the game on Thanksgiving with no other games competing is nice exposure, from a personal standpoint I would rather it be played on Saturday or even Friday. On the Thanksgiving holiday itself I would much rather be free to get together and spend time at home with family.

That's really an unfortunate development for A&M and LSU.
One would expect them to both be national title contenders at the end of the year- with this game being this late, one of them definitely gets eliminated from consideration.

Maybe we will be on a rotation with this game on Thanksgiving. That'd be hilarious because we'd always be at home vs UOM when it was our turn to play on Thanksgiving. LSU already stated it won't play on Thursday's when they have aTm at home. I hate that the LSU/Arky game is no longer on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Worst case scenario for us. The benefit for Thanksgiving night is when your team is not playing at home. Just another way of seeing that State got screwed on all accounts on the 2013 schedule.

Now there are other games on at the same time. NFL night game and Texas-TCU on Fox.
