Our contact with Adidas runs through June 30, 2028.

If Nike is trying to get us to breach that contract, Nike is liable for tortious interference.

If Nike is talking about 2028, great. Hopefully we’re also talking to Under Armor, New Balance, Kids, Converse, etc.

New Balance? Converse? lol - good one. Let’s outfit Dylan in some ‘Roos while we’re at it.

Allegedly the contract is not iron clad and Nike wants an answer ASAP.

I think the first thing people need to realize that the only "iron clad contract" is the one you sign with your gym, those literally can never be broken.

Everyone other contract, marriage included, can be broken with ease.

Also, anyone know if I have to fake my own death to get out of my Genesis Health Club contract???

Not iron clad would be very unusual.

And pressuring for a quick major decision doesn’t particularly sound like someone who really wants to be a partner.
Yeah, I'm sure Adidas doesn't have any competent lawyers drafting up their agreements when they shell out millions ($128M to Nebraska) for school partnerships. They probably just had their accountant find a fill-in-the-blank form on the interwebs. I'm sure Nebraska can just say "**** it, we're out."

Oh yeah, "every" contract can be broken with ease. That's why Clemson and FSU are stuck in the ACC even after spending millions trying to weasel their way out of that contract for greener pastures. C'mon guys, can we get back to reality?

They did find ways out but then the ACC gave them more money and made it easier for them to leave later on. They get more now and they will get more later.

Did they even spend money on it, I am guessing both schools have lawyers and/or law schools that already work for them.

Yep it kills me people think this about contracts.all or shows is the people saying this have never signed a business contracts contract in their life. On top of that it’s fake news . It was a set up to see who has been stealing information of another board and posting it as thier insider information.

I have a $100 a year Genesis membership. I rarely go but for that price I keep extending it.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t want any part of Nike. Adidas is fine, and our brass knows they basically overpay for our unattractive brand

Original rumor was a troll. It is not true.

I am not sure if OP knows that or is trying to be funny by jumping on a debunked rumor.
