Affinity is def legit...a lot less headaches in OSx, that's for damn sure. If you do go Mac, check out Motion, similar to After Effects but less cumbersome...in your line of work Articulate or Captivate would be a great tool to leverage if you expand further into multimedia.I have the Affinity suite. I want to become proficient with it; however, work and the Catpaw keep getting in the way.
I am a technical trainer by trade, so Microsoft, Keynote, etc., are my go-to platforms. I tried developing an I.G. in Affinity Publisher, but with my limited skill set in publishing software, the text editing was frustrating to get things done quickly. Nevertheless, I will keep plugging away at it.
Now, I need my company to change everything out to Mac.
