HS football is going to be brutal this year. In looking at some of the schedules that have been released, many schools will be playing 3 regular season games by August 31st. Slow clap for the MS Legislature. The state and the school districts are broke as a joke, but by god, we can send teachers and students back in early August and run the ACs at full blast.

It would make more sense to start around Labor Day and go until June.
I blame the school superintendents and teachers for wanting to start the summer break earlier..

Anyone know who is behind this?

So the Jackson Metro is getting one game, a five A public vs a three A private? Why not just show Brandon and Pearl, NW and Pearl orJA and Prep game?

Madison Central was this past year so I guess they are trying to spread it out some. Prep and Pearl has been a good game in the past too. I guess that leaves Clinton vs ??? in the future, don't remember them playing in one yet. Interesting that they have dropped the TN teams and the AL teams from it this year...............

So, MC, Prep & Pearl will have been on twice and Brandon, NW Rankin, JA, & Clinton once each. Pretty sure their plan is to have one Jackson metro area game per year.
