Yes we didn't need the yards. Our kicker has been pretty good. It cost us the game against Tennessee and it cost us again.
Some of the worst end of game play calling and clock management I’ve ever seen. Unforgivable.
It's been like that all year. Lebby is terrible at end of halves and games. Just has no feel for the game at all. Just throwing crap at the wall hoping it sticks.

Why call the timeout in the first 17ing place? Run the ball a few yards, let the clock nearly expire, then call time out. This isn’t rocket surgery.

you run the ball in that situation. no reason to throw the ball at all. i'd rather him try the 45 or so FG than throw a pick in that situation. he misses the FG oh well, we lost a close one again. that is not what folks on here are bitching about though. it was the wrong call and he should admit it, at least.

That was some of the dumbest coaching on both sidelines I have witnessed in a long time.
had Shapen thrown that last pass into the stands and signaled for Ferrie to come on himself.....he coulda given Lebby a big 17 you with a smile. It doesn't necessarily change the outcome, but would've been nice to have seen one of them do the right thing.
Shapen should’ve never had the option. You run the ball. Which very likely would’ve gained yardage.
