Good start and good finish to the half. Bad turnover and foul by Grant or it could have been even better.

Tariq looking good so far. Good to have a legit deep threat with a decent handle that can create his own shot when needed.
Right now he does and I hope it continues. Rider is a small team. It will be interesting to see if he can hold his own in the B1G or if he gets eaten up like Noah Fernandes.

Pleasantly surprised by Francis especially on D

Fall is hilariously bad. It's gonna be Ogbole or bust...who hasn't been terrible but admittedly it's Rider

And if Buchanan gonna drive like this he has to make his FTs

Badalau at least looks aggressive. Hopefully he starts making shots. Nothing really surprising to me so far. bad team that will play hard.

Fall is the biggest disappointment. A former 5 star, who was spit out at two programs and might not get significant minutes here either. Wow.

Depending on the opponent, I wouldn’t mind playing some small ball with Grant at the 5, Badalau 4, Buchanan 3, Francis 2, and JMike at point.

Neither Grant nor Ogbole looks like they have improved at all. Obviously Dortch hasn't because he can’t even break into the rotation. JMike appears to have improved and is not forcing things
J mike as the steadying presence on the team says alot on where we are as a program but he is providing that role tonight

Noah Fernandes was injured/shell of what he was before coming to Rutgers and not as agile as Francis.

Agree. He has the skill but will need help against bigger and better teams. Can the other guys provide that?

I think that drought was due in large part to Pike taking the starters out too quick. They were in a nice rhythm and flow and then he goes with the mass substitutes. We've seen Pike do that over the years and it's maddening.
In Pike’s defense, as a team we did push the pace, Rider played two days ago, and he needs to figure out who he can trust, so he’s trying to involve more bench guys sooner. The use of our depth should pay off in the second half.
