I think the mods here and Fonseca have been pretty objective.

Carino is a clown but that's nothing new
Carino had us power ranked 17th in the tournament, ahead of UNLV. A program with win’s over Memphis and St. Joe’s. He’s a Pike apologist and fairly shameless about it

Lol..are you kidding me
Not kidding! The whole staff should go but since we have cheapass fans that shop for LoBro rather than Filet Mignon maybe we need to realize who we are and think realistically with our $$$. We need to cut off the head at least at this point

I’m a Schiano guy, as some of you may know, but Hobbs extending both of them until 2030 really put the athletic department in a terrible situation/doomed us. It’s one thing if he didn’t give a **** about NIL(another huge issue) but giving out extensions for that long was beyond idiotic. Not doing **** about NIL + long extensions, yea his negatives severely outweigh any positives he did at Rutgers as AD

No way we will pay the buyout, based on how this team looks my sense is Pike is just collecting a pay check. It’s obvious no effort was put into roster construction, recruiting or basic offense and defensive concepts.

this is what bothers me the most. It’s obvious he just throws crap against the wall to see what sticks. Any effort would have told him that Jaden Jones is a head case. Any film study would have told him that Martini can’t rebound and defend at the big ten level and that he’s better off retaining Woolfolk if that’s all he can afford. Anybody with eyes could have easily observed that Souf Mensah was a D3 player. Too many head scratching personnel decisions that had nothing to do with NIL. To top it off his lualty to his assistants is insane. He has to know that his offenses are consistently abysmal even in the good times. Why not attempt to fix it?

Ahh I see we’ve reached the “they continue to play hard” part of the game. Sad we’re a high major and all the announcers can find to say about us are these pity compliments
O, they're laying it on hard now. Steve Pikiell bullsh*t quotes now, if you don't play hard for 40 mins. you can't be on my team.

No ,because Knight is responsible for half court offense which stinks.
Brandin is part of the problem at this point. His offensive sets, if that’s what you want to call them, are easy to defend and predictable. There is not a single set that attacks the rim or forces defensive decisions. The motion takes place moving away from the basket and spacing is awful.

If I wasn't so disappointed in this program I would almost feel sorry for Pikiel. He is just so over his head. But I don't feel one bit sorry for him...it's time to do the right thing and resign. He's made a lot of $$ from Rutgers and should not take another dime.
Agreed he is basically robbing Rutgers with his buddy Greg

I feel sorry for him. He was what we needed when he came to Rutgers, and there were some great years before it all came crashing down. He’s got to be exhausted. Maybe he’ll talk to his family over Thanksgiving and decide it’s time to walk away.

I mean I would like subjective

tell me what you actually think the season is going to look like not what sounds nice
Agreed

This team does not have enough talent to win the MAAC or Ivy forget about compete in the BIG TEN!

Too small, no athleticism, can’t shoot or score, too name a few issues

He’s not waking away and he’s taking money for nothing at this point. Don’t feel sorry for him. He’s basically stealing money (a lot of it) like Jordan and Stringer did at the end.

Watching fundamentals like boxing out still be non existent year over year makes me continue to question how Pike has had any success here

Greg and Pike knew about his office affair and used it as leverage for their extension

Where was the BOG on this? I could not believe it at the time. Just unnecessary, now incredibly stupid.
