20-5 Rutgers run... with UT's best players on the bench

Going LIVE after this one!
I would settle for off ball movement and anything but horns as the primary set.Never never off the ball screens and never a back screen
Not kidding! The whole staff should go but since we have cheapass fans that shop for LoBro rather than Filet Mignon maybe we need to realize who we are and think realistically with our $$$. We need to cut off the head at least at this point
Bet he points to us outscoring them in the 2nd half as proof of progress. That we were only shell shocked in the 1st half but once we settled down we could play with them.Make no mistake this would’ve been a 50+ point loss if Tennessee played hard for more than 0 seconds of the second half
Should really be 120-50 right now20-5 Rutgers run... with UT's best players on the bench

Completely agree…I’m just thinking of trying to stem the bleeding right now to go the interim route showcasing we don’t accept this NOW and clean house at end of season. Maybe it gives us some changeKnight is as big of a problem as Pike
The more I learn how Hobbs ran the department I’m amazed that he wasn’t found out earlier. Wanted to “liked” by the coaches and feared by staff. I would have rather he ran it the other way around. Not to mention ran it like a personal dating service. He extended every coach in almost all sports he gave out extensions like candy just a joke; 1 good season and you were given a 5 year extension
Was wondering the same thing about him. Tony Bennett was more successful at UVa, and he cited the state of unregulated NIL money and transfers as reasons he is "no longer equipped" to coach modern college basketball and said he hopes these new aspects of the college basketball landscape will be better regulated in time. While NIL is more regulated, Pikiell does not seem like he can handle the modern basketball landscape. If I wasn't so disappointed in this program I would almost feel sorry for Pikiel. He is just so over his head. But I don't feel one bit sorry for him...it's time to do the right thing and resign. He's made a lot of $$ from Rutgers and should not take another dime.
I'm sure it's a lot easier to walk away when you have national title under your belt. With that said, I certainly understand your point. Was wondering the same thing about him. While older, Jim Larrañaga did the same thing at Miami.
Not trying to pile on Pike. Just don't see him turning it around at this point.I'm sure it's a lot easier to walk away when you have national title under your belt. With that said, I certainly understand your point.
Rejects is pretty harsh. I blame the coach far more. I certainly believe a competent staff who know how to coach would figure out a way to play better..certainly as a team vs. Whatever the hell his system is or is not.If you had premium @Richie O who runs the site said this was most likely the worst team he's ever seen under Pike. He said 14-18 would be overachieving for this collection of rejects.
Totally understand... and agree. Not trying to pile on Pike. Just don't see him turning it around at this point.
This is depressing. JMike is borderline unplayable at this level. Buchanan does nothing well. Zrno does nothing...at all.
