Excellent start,
We need more of the Big Donors to now step up and make their feelings known.

Imho, that was my biggest fear with Barchi, and I actually really don't blame him for this. Since he's a short timer, he wants to give the next president the ability to hire the head coach, but we're in such a bad position now that we kinda forced his hand. He really does need to say something though or empower Herman to say something, and that's were I do blame him.

I cant believe the Liar made a story out of a guys tweets...this guy did a lot for Rvision but he also has been divisive at times and would want TP back. Nothing to see here

Serious question. What is it with your obsession over Julie? I'm being serious.
Someone says something slightly critical, and you go nuts. Certifiably nuts.
Relax.

I think BAC is tired of the clueless who occupy many of these threads and still think TP should be our AD. Never mind that TP is why we're in the crapper in the two top revenue sports. Never mind, that TP didn't know how to run an AD if his life depended on it. Never mind that JH is the ONLY real AD Rutgers has ever had in terms of organization and operations. So BAC and many of us are fed up with the BS perpetrated by the clueless and agenda a$$holes who occupy this site.

Whos bringing up Julie...you did...and you and others bring her up all time. I brought Tim up because he is throwing rose petals on Tim for getting us in the Big 10

Tim was an awful AD. Horrible.
But Julie has one job over the next two weeks (something where she failed in 2013). Get the cash to give Flood the boot. If she can't, she needs to go (and I am not a TP lover or a woman hater).

I agree, but it's easy to see why it was so difficult in 2013. At the time, Flood had one losing season and a co-share of the Big East title (with 3 other teams LOL) on his resume.

Years later, Flood has added a relatively good year in the Big Ten (albeit with many blow out losses) and a relatively horrible year (with many more blow out losses).

Yet there are still people on this board who believe he should return. It's probably the same with the donors. We know one donor gave the money to have Flood's contract extended. Do others feel the same? If they do, that one good year in the Big Ten last year may go much farther than it should. They'll use all of the same excuses Slyker does..

I could understand people being upset if JH didn't get rid of Flood, I would be too. However, I see a double standard and no consistency of reaction. When TP couldn't get rid of FHJ a move that took much less money in a program that was worse off that football, I didn't see any calling for his head. I didn't call for his head. I was upset but I understood the issues he faced. Or how about Rice, he could have fired him without cause but he didn't get the money for that either and again I saw a lot of excuse making there and not much of a ding on it but more towards the RU lawyers.

I don't mind having whatever opinion but I see double standards and lack of consistency among some.

Indeed. If she cant make it happen again she will have failed at her main job and should be done.

Newman was at the heart of the defense of the Penn State alum who was hired as the sideline reporter for R Vision.

He came here and solicited funds from this community to get R Vision tech upgrades.

He's no more "prominent" than several dozen other posters who post here.

If he were to call, Barchi would say, "Jon who?"

This what I figured. If he was prominent, he would in fact be prominent.

Do you really think his Twitter feed is moving the needle more than it has?

If he is prominent, Rutgers is in trouble.

Newman IS NOT a "prominent" booster. He has done some nice things the athletic program, yes, but he is also one of the biggest trolls around and did nothing but bash our athletic department, Julie included, on social media, for a good 18 months. He thinks much more highly of himself than he should IMHO.

That being said, he's right, we need to get rid of the clown currently running the show (along with the ENTIRE) staff.

Normally we'd be (rightfully) complaining this isn't worthy of reporting by our favorite 'news' organization but for a change they're on the right side of history so nobody really cares.

You're wrong there bac, he is a TP supporter but has moved on and is not rehashing the same ole message that some stubborn TPers are.

BTW - if you haven't made a certain "connection" here, yet, regarding Newman, RU athletics, and NJ.com, think harder, because it makes sense to me!!! :cool2:
