Anybody else think it's weird that RU is only allowing 8 tickets per season ticket holder? Why would they want to impose a limit? Isn't the goal to sell as many as possible? And let's be honest, scalping Pinstripe Bowl tickets is not going to be a lucrative venture. So there is no motivation to buy and resell. It probably won't even sell out. So to me, it makes no sense.

I had to recruit two other season ticket holders to use their accounts so I could get 19 tickets together for friends and family. It was a PITA.

Have to say, the RU website isn't very helpful, especially when one clicks on the "buy tickets" button in the email and it brings one to a non-descript page on the RU site which doesn't mention the bowl at all - I had to hunt around to find it. It shows options from $60 to $150 tickets and all it says for them is "Field Level" or "Main Level" which gives one no idea where the tix might be. Is that because the tix will be given out in PP order, so they can't tell you which tix yet? Or am I missing something? Did the tickets come up when you selected one of those price options?

True I didn't see club seats on TicketMaster nor StubHub. My guess is Yankees havent released them yet for sale.

I won't be buying via Rutgers. Not good enough for club with my points and also cant get location till after point allocation

Per ticket rep. No club seats through RU. Anyone have experience in the past about price levels/views for club. I remember RU doing a nice job with field seats last time but don’t know club details.

Just got an updated email and it said we have to have ticket requests in by 5 pm today. More lousy communications/planning by RU. That's just 2 days from the bowl announcement and I didn't see anything about 5 pm today on the RU website yesterday or the email from Sunday night. Oh well. At least they finally put together a venue map with pricing/sections.

1) there will be more updates this week our ticket info page (including Club Seats).

2) @RU848789 that’s not a new update regarding today. That was on the original email sent out (last month?) as well. That season-ticket holders had “priority” until Tuesday, December 5. Nothing new there.

Looks like tickets on Seat Geek are pretty much as mapped out above plus ~$10 upcharge (scalper's fee...).

Are my options really 1.) go through Rutgers and not be guaranteed of anything as I am not a season ticket holder or 2.) go through Seat Geek and pay a 10 dollar premium but have confidence I'll have a ticket in the exact spot I want?

yeah, I'm still looking for that SMH reaction to become available under the Like feature on this site. Sorry about that. Why I gave you the heads-up. Its Rutgers.
(IF it makes you feel any better I just happened to look at my P Points just because you know. They are using them to fill orders. Well I noticed that HALF my points disappeared for no reason. two categories worth significant point weren't even listed now as they were in July's Snap Shot. WTF.

THIS would have been SO HELPFUL IF it had been included BEFORE making the selection. Why I was going to wait but instead I bought thru Rutgers .. having this would have made a difference in our selections.

Dennis - this venue map has been available for a couple of weeks now. I - and at least 1 other - posted the link in a thread on this very board.

Sorry. I don't or didn't think to research this site and threads as the official source for Rutgers Bowl info. When I went to the Official Rutgers Site to make my selections they didn't have this there.

I go to yours for the party info. Who knew you were also the insight into advanced seat map for the damn school. Oh well. My bigger issue is the suddenly missing 50% of my priority points and nobody at the foundation responding. can you fix that?

Didn't mean to come across that way Dennis....just that the seating map was on the game's website for a while now so figured others would look there as well....and unfortunately, no, I can't help with your PP's! Hope you get that fixed ASAP, however, not cool!!!!

D...I didn't take it in a bad way at all. Any frustration my part is with the school. I actually had looked there multiple times at the official site and kept getting the prior years version with teams flipped. I didn't go back there Monday morning because when buying thru RU as I figured it was RU who would have the details on where their seats were lol. My bad, You'd think I'd know better.

Gotcha. Yeah even on the "bowl site," which is really different than any other bowl site, it was the old map until a few weeks ago. I wasn't thrilled with being on the 1B (no sun) side of the stadium, then all of a sudden it was flipped and I had linked it here.

Anyway, hope you get that **** clear up buddy!

AGAIN: THERE SHOULD BE MORE INFO ON CLUB SEATS (yes, no or otherwise) LATER THIS WEEK (posted above just about 15-minutes ago).

You're welcome.
You think we would have our sh%t together.
I have already received emails yesterday about suites from the Yankees /Suite Hop about the game. Pricey but they are offering at any rate.

The invite went out on Sunday. So...NOW we check out the facilities and what's available for us/how much/etc., at Yankee Stadium. That's taking place today or tomorrow from what I was told. I think tomorrow. Should have all of this info by Thurs or Friday. REALLY not a big deal considering it still leaves people (I'd say 90% of our fans attending are not traveling from out-of-region) with 3 weeks to make this type of decision.

I don't really care what was said last month, as we didn't know what bowl we were going to back then (even if Pinstripe seemed likely). The point is that the RU AD email sent Sunday night to season ticket holders said nothing about a Tues 5 pm deadline for ordering, nor did the "Bowl Central" webpage that email directed people to. I don't even recall it on the ordering page on Sunday night, but maybe I missed it there, although it's obviously there now - I also don't recall seeing the venue graphic with seating locations/prices detailed until today. Bottom line is RU did a ****** job with communications on this bowl. Full stop. I likely won't be able to order tix from RU, since I haven't heard from half the people I was canvassing for, since I didn't know about the deadline until this morning.

I had something similar happen with PP's last spring when I was ordering season tix - all of my PPs associated with some major donations I had made to RU (eng'g school) were missing - they had once been there, but were gone and my PP level was over 100 points lower than it should have been. My ticket rep cleared it all up in a couple of days, but it was annoying that it happened. Good luck getting yours resolved.

Okay. Bottom line there was an email last month that CLEARLY stated a 12/5 deadline for ordering BASED ON priority….and the seating chart was on the game site for a couple of weeks. Not sure why you’re so upset.

Well numbers that happened to me back then too. This is a poorly timed repeat of something I thought fixed.
Reached out to rep yesterday.. "can't help" contact R Foundation.
Reached out to them 2x today starting at 10am ..5pm..now.. nothing. told them how important it was under situation. Man it just fires me up at such a critical time.

Because that email was for any general bowl and I had no idea how many tix I'd want as that would totally depend on the bowl, so I ignored that email - not realizing it had the 12/5 deadline. My point is, how hard would it have been to put in the 12/5 deadline in the bowl email and "Bowl Central" webpage that were sent out Sunday night? Big fail, IMO, since I'm sure many people didn't look closely at the email from weeks ago.

Eh...I don't get bent about this things but I guess I can see a little frustration...I'm sure you'll still be likely to get what you want. Plus...we're gonna have one HELL of a party!

I got the ticket request in, but it was a last minute flurry that was unnecessary, IMO. I'm not "upset" - this is me just annoyed at the principle involved, i.e., poor communications that could've so easily been clearer. And yes, I'm sure there will be a great party! That was never in doubt.

Buffet, non-alcoholic drinks and a less than ideal view of field.

If you’re specifically speaking about the Delta area. Nice for baseball, not so much for football.

Correct. You're behind home plate and about 30-yards (or more) from the back of the end zone. IMHO you're better off holding out for news on Audi Club availability.
