If you are looking for seats in the Delta Club for a football game you might as well stay home. The view in your living room is better. At Yankee Stadium the Delta Club is about 50 yards behind the Endzone..bring your binoculars.

Shouldnt there be more info on club seats prior to the point when you need to have submitted your request for tickets?
in Yankees games dont you only get soda/water/snacks included in delta lounge and the rest is just better options of food that you have to purchase? or do you get full buffet of food included now?
Also, just curious what happened to other lounges like jim beam? are they (yanks) holding them back for private events/corporate? or is that tied in with the larger notion of whether they open that upper level of the stadium?
They're trying to "sell" the Club to the school's alumni associations so that's why there's not "more" info as of yet. That's going on this week (I believe we were up there today).
Not so sure Rutgers will easily sell out its ticket allotment as some have predicted. First, the excitement just isn’t there compared to past bowl seasons. Four straight lopsided losses will do that. Second, why buy through RU when the stadium sightlines stink and you don’t even know where you’ll be sitting, not to mention cheaper tickets being available elsewhere? Color me skeptical.
Miami ticket office told me that delta sky suite is sold out. Think it’s odd there are non available on secondary market.
Unfortunately the reality of this crappy Bowl venue might take its toll on the attendance.
For the casual RU fan this is very far from a desirable Bowl. Particularly if they have been to the Bronx Bowl already. More like a one and done. The hard code RU fans will certainly be there. I will be.
Hopefully we can make an impact.
Weather/temperature on gameday will determine whether or not many people I know will attend.

All kidding aside, that graphic does a fine job of illustrating my biggest problem with the Pinstripe bowl.
Normally, midfield seats are typically the best for football. From midfield, long as you're not too low, the sight lines are about as good as they get 'cause you can see all parts of the field reasonably well.
No so in Yankee stadium, the way the field's laid out. Here, even the front row midfield seats are too far away. And they're canted at an angle so you're constantly corkscrewing your neck to watch the action on the field. The theoretically best seats ($150/ticket suites) all totally suck.
That's why you buy the CHEAPER seats, in the 200's and 300's (or 400's like when we played ND) and see THE ENTIRE FIELD.
It's a baseball stadium, it's sucks, OH FREAKIN' WELL! Sit home and complain to yourself if you don't like it lol!

I fully admit to being a spoiled primadonna type when it comes to entertainment. If I can't get great seats with a great view, I pass.
Although sometimes, best seats can backfire. Had front row center seats for a Jeff Beck concert a while back. Right in front of our seats were audience-facing low-profile speakers set up on the edge of the stage. And it was loud. Painfully loud. Damagingly loud. Oops. Live and learn.
And yeah, H&B is way more expensive than bowl tickets. Or so I'm told, at least.

Look at the image of the stadium. The midfield seats are too far away from the field. Moving towards the corners gets the seats closer, but then you're in the corners. For you, perhaps that's fine. For me, it's too far away.
I've sat up there for 2 football games ...dozens for baseball games (you lose the very far left field corner by the foul pole)...and you can see the ENTIRE field from both the vast majority of the sections down the left field line (200's, 300 and 400's) and wrapping around the pole. No, you can't "read the names on their jersey," I get that, but you can see the plays develop and don't miss anything (as opposed to my seats at SHI where I have to look at the big screen once play is inside the 20 on the far end of the field). Again...I'd rather be going to Nashville....but it is what it is.

Everyone has known for years that Yankee Stadium sucks for football. Doesn't mean the pre-game parties won't be great or that it won't be a fun bowl game. RU fans who go to home games at RU stadium should still be able to enjoy a local bowl game.
I'm going to the Rutgers Club of NYC party and watching the game there. No reason to get ripped off to watch a game I won't even be able to see inside the stadium, not to mention the ridiculous beer prices. Thought about going to that other party but the beer costs WAY too much there as well.
