The Rutgers football coach this week received the Distinguished Service Award from the Northern New Jersey chapter of the Association of the United States Army for his support of the cadets of the Scarlet Knights Battalion ROTC. The award is reserved for those who go above and beyond in their support for soldiers and their families.
In two weeks, Flood will be the guest of honor for the Embrace Kids Foundation of New Brunswick at an annual event to raise funds and awareness for families whose children have cancer and blood disorders.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals who go above and beyond their support for soldiers and their families. During his tenure as head coach of the Rutgers football program, Flood has been a strong supporter of the Scarlet Knight Battalion ROTC on campus and participated in countless events supporting the men and women of the armed forces.

good - maybe he has a future career in supporting the ROTC - which is something other than coaching a p5 football team.

Did he send commanders emails about how the cadets could get better scores on PT testing?

Couldn't resist.
