Where are the WRs we've recruited since 2020?
None of them panned out to even compete for a starting role?

Paging @Knight Shift . I'm starting to have flashbacks......I can feel my blood pressure rising.....

"The top six are the most likely to consistently see the field, as new offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca likes to emphasize multiple tight end packages in his offense, which means fewer receivers on the field at a time."

2020 WRs:
Ahmirr Robinson- at Texas State
Wright-Collins- now a linebacker
Tahjay Moore (I reacted-who?)--dismissed

2021 WRs:
Brayden Fox-Holy Toledo!
Max Patterson- on roster
Carnell Davis--now a DB

2022 WRs:
Fitzroy Legister- on roster
Amarion Brown-on roster

IDK, the above speaks about the level of recruiting by the offensive staff?

I love ya man, in a strictly platonic sense, but you are contrarian on a lot here. That's OK, years of being abused by bad OCs, schemes, and some players, that sets in.
I'm in wait and see mode.

We should try to get together at a Metallica tailgate. Maybe @e5fdny can patch us into a message since neither of us have messaging privileges.

Can it get any worse than the last 2 years?

This.
The Offensive recruiting definitely has taken a drop over the last 3 seasons minus a couple of RBs.
Need a turnaround like we are seeing for next year’s class.

🙏 for results from the 2 portal players, and hopefully, Rochelle, Washington, Dremel and perhaps someone else emerges. Thinking too that now with Konopka and Johnny back, we can have more TE plays?

Don't think Amarion Brown made it here. Looks like the TE transfer will contribute and may step ahead of Konopka.

Also hoping Chris Long can make impact this season. Believe he had 200 yards as a WR last season.
Spot on the TEs. Hope Kirk has more plays designed for them than we have seen in the past.

I think Rochelle could be a pleasant surprise (not total surprise) at slot.

Wright-Collins was never at WR, he was a RB before moving to LB.

I should have been more clear. On the commitment list he was listed at WR. Not sure if he was projected to be a RB while being recruited, but don't think LB was his projection. He has a few moments at RB, where it looked like he might have potential, but that room is loaded.
