That's what I don't 7nderstand about the offensive philosophy.

So what?
What happens if Iowa gets the ball in plus field position?
They don't score like normal.
If Iowa stsrted at the 50 every drive, are they really a threat to score?

Give our offense as many chances as they can to score.

A TO could be a TD itself or if in plus field position thenit takes maybe a 25-30 yd big play or broken play to score which is sort of plausible as opposed to a 70-80yd one.

No need to make it any easier for them when they struggle mightily. We can move it on them more than they can move it on us imo. So don’t do them any favors.
