Rutgers gift from days of yore

Years ago I received a Rutgers rain poncho. Were they handed out at the stadium to game attendees (maybe the Syracuse game played in typhoon conditions), or were they a Rutgers TD Club gift?

Years ago I received a Rutgers rain poncho. Were they handed out at the stadium to game attendees (maybe the Syracuse game played in typhoon conditions), or were they a Rutgers TD Club gift?

I seem to recall them being handed out at a game. My wife and I each got one.

I'm not a TD Club member. And I was too cheap and too poor to buy them back then so they must have been handouts, lol.
