Sure they lost 78-0 this week and 58-0 last week, but Rutgers is the real winner because Delaney and co invited them to join this league. Wow
I hate Rutgers and Maryland. Have no idea why they are in the big. What a sellout.
They were brought in almost solely to move the conference into the Washington, DC and New York City media markets.
I don't care. Nfl markets anyway.

Maryland brings another Basketball power in the conference but I'd rather seen Missouri or KU with us but Maryland gives Penn St someone to play close to home.

We need to give Rutgers a break. Not only did they play the first college football game, but George Washington hung out thereabouts after the battle of Monmouth.
Ok, but this gives them 100 years of goodwill, tops.... They really need to come up with some newer redeeming qualities p.d.q.
RU doesn't get a full share until 2021 and iirc they are roughly at a half share right now. Maryland's deal is a bit better because the B10 is doing something (can't remember the specifics) to help them cover the ACC exit fee but in terms of cash to the AD they aren't full share either.

I'm curious what the Big Ten Network is valued at, and if that share is stipulated in the bylaws, and further, if the Universities themselves carry that as an asset on their books.
