This should help

"This is coming off a full 2021-22 Nike EYBL 16u Circuit, where Griffiths averaged 17.1 points and shot 39.0 percent from three on 11 attempts per game."
Can we get some of that please.
11 attempts a game!!!

We are 346 out of 363 in KenPom "luck".
By KenPom 4th in defense, the 3 teams ahead of us are #5, #2 and #3 overall

Iowa is the anti-Rutgers they are 3rd in offense, 169 in defense (4 and 174 for RU in the opposite direction)
Can someone rent a place on the Cape for Fran and Pike to spend a few weeks together this summer?
They'd be playing each other in the National Championship game for years to come.

Well those stats match the eyeball test. The offense has been absolutely brutal to watch for the most part minus a few stretches

Doesn’t mean anything we just got to focus on getting stops sometimes the ball goes in sometimes it doesn’t it’ll start going in I’m not worried about that we gotta play Rutgers defense and everything will fall into place.

You can't win in basketball at any level today if you can't score 3s. Problem is compounded on our team because not only can't we make 3s with any remote consistency, we cannot even get open sufficient to hoist them at the basket. I suspect we are at the bottom statistically in 3s attempted.

We're 323rd in 3-point attempts. Of note, Indiana is 354th (out of 363 schools), UCLA is 325th and Kentucky is 321st.

That thought applies to teams with good shooters who have bad nights. It doesn't apply to teams with bad shooters.

obviously deficient talent compared to competiton. defense/length (except Jacob Y) has been Pike’s roster model but that strategy busted this year. Too few scoring options, especially without an effective PG.

Rutgers defense guarding 3 point shots also isn't very good leaving far too many open shots .On offense and defense the coaching staff and players over the summer need to address the problem.

Lundy shot 1-16 and missed every wide open look he had or there never would have been a comeback.
Leaving him open and praying he missed every shot was the only way we could stop Jalen Pickett.
It worked, but I wouldn’t consider it a sound strategy.in the future.
