Like it, nice to see Villanova on the schedule, especially at home. Hopefully the weather cooperates or else those Feb games become hard to attend in person. We'll know what kind of team it is by that Villanova game with the 3 tough prior games.

Rutgers needs to come out of the OOC schedule 7-2 at worst to have a realistic shot at May Madness.

Agree, and need to have at least one win for either Army or Princeton, and one of those losses can be the other. Need to beat Jacksonville and Stonybrook and maybe the other loss is Villanova.

Not thrilled with the St. Johns and Bellarmine - should have just been 1 of those types of games (and get St. John's since it's local).

That said, as always, it comes down to conference play. The schedule starts tough, then some what should be easy games, followed by Princeton, two more what could be tune up games then conference play.

I still think it is so ridiculous to start the season so early!!! Lacrosse is a spring sport not a winter sport

I think this a product of 2 things. One, with a few exceptions, is scrapping midweek games and only playing one game a week. Around the time Washington was crossing the Delaware, I went through seasons when Wednesday games were standard. It is eminately dooable. The other is conference championships. I have no solution to that one.

I love having the championship on MDW. Bringing back midweek games would move the season start back 2-3 weeks. Not perfect, but an improvement.
