"We're excited to have Ally join us," Lehman said. "Her energy and passion for the game is something you notice right away, and she is excited to be a part of building a program. She competed in the Big Ten during her time at Penn State and was a big part of the success that program achieved, so we're ecstatic to have her get started and bring her experience to Rutgers."

People from winning programs is huge.
Well let’s hope the Penn State part works because I watched LaSalle play a few other times and I was not impressed
Like Cali said she has good playing pedigree so let’s hope that comes through. Anyone hear anything about recruiting whether or not she was able to salvage a recruiting class for this year?

Hopefully she can recruit better in the B1G. Assuming she continues as the recruiting coordinator. And as far as coaching, you'd think better and faster players can fit her schemes much better.

What winning program? She was at Lasalle who was not a very good team .my daughter DII Team beat them in scrimmage the last 2 years so not sure about this one

That would have been in her first year of coaching, right out of school and with no part of recruiting the players she was coaching. I'd say that's less than dispositive as to her coaching potential.

Our women's lacrosse program has been down for years. Why would we want to or care about "salvaging" a recruiting class from previous coaching staff?

I didn’t mean salvage the previous staffs recruiting class I meant was the new coach able to recruit anyone from the little time she had since she was named coach

Good lord. How much recruiting can you do between July 17 and the start of classes as an assistant coach?
